A chilly, soft breeze set in as the auburn leaves of trees elegantly floated to the ground. The crisp smell of Autumn set in as the blazing sun began to dim, a flock of birds flying underneath some orange-tinted clouds. Suddenly, the ring of a bell was heard as teenagers swarmed the exit, going down the concrete stairs in an uneven, crowded order and using their ways of transportation to get home. Azalea, a girl with long, messy, blueish hair and teal-green eyes suddenly doubled back, walking back up the stairs with a look of concern and not paying attention to where she was going. Xander had dark red hair and light blue eyes, and was a lot taller than her. He was walking down the stairs, when the two collided by accident and fell.
"aGh- I'm sorry!" Azalea said, stumbling back to her feet and holding out a hand to help Xander up "Are you okay?"
Xander gets up, brushing himself off, "I'm just fine, but aren't you the one who fell down more than one stair?" He asked, grabbing her hand.
"Oh- yeah, I'm fine though..!" She said, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to bump into you." She tilted to the side a little to look back at the open doors of the highschool, pausing again, "....I just...heard something."
Suddenly, something had spoken again, in an echo-y whisper, "...Azalea...Xander..." It called out their names, seeming to come from inside the school.
"..did you hear that?" Azalea asked with a worried, curious voice.
"Yeah. It's strange that we just got called randomly," He responded.
The voice called their names out again in the same echoing whisper, this time slightly louder.
"...It sounds like it's coming from inside the building...should we follow it?"
"I mean, every manga ever shows this as a sign that something interesting is gonna happen, so sure." Xander responded with a smirk.
"Alright..let's go then." Azalea started started going back up the stairs.
"Follow me... follow me..." The voice whispered, repeating itself every so often as if trying to lure them into the building more.
"Dang, this is voice is a annoying. It sounds like Navi from the legend of Zelda." He said, continuing on.
"Mhm.." she mumbled in reply, not really paying attention to what he said as she was more focused on following the voice, which continued to lead them further into the building until they reached the library.
In the library, a large, red door with silver lining stood at the end of a bookshelf hall. The voice seemed to be leading them towards the door.
"...I don't think this door was here before..." Azalea suddenly stated.
"That's because it wasn't here before, which means somethings gonna happen." He stated bluntly.
Suddenly, the door swings open, revealing a multicolored mist which started to envelop the room. It smelled similar to a mixture of honey and cherries, and upon inhalation, the two began to become drained and exhausted.
"...wha...? This...doesn't seem like a good sign... we should go." Azalea said, drawling her sentence a bit before turning to leave. She took a couple of steps, before collapsing on the ground and going unconscious.
"I am very excited for what is to come." He said, before falling to the ground and passing out.

When the two eventually awoke, they found themselves in a heavily wooded, darkened forest, with vibrantly colored flowers and mushrooms growing around the area, casting a dim light in the area. The muffled chattering of animals could be heard amongst the teal-grey leaves in the trees. Azalea sat up, rubbing her eyes a little and looking around.
