The two females stared each other down for a moment.
"Airachnid!" Arcee growled.
"Arcee, feral as always." Airachnid chastised.
"Says the spider." Arcee responded.
Suddenly, a dark blue blur jumped down from Exo.
"Hello boys!" Whirl cried.
Launching her rotors at Hot Shot, the multichanger just missed losing his head. "Ha!" He cried.
Then Whirl kicked him in the gut.
As Hot Shot fell back, and Medix ran up to check on him, Wedge and Hoist circled Whirl.
"We don't want to hurt you Whirl." Wedge said.
"And we know you don't want to hurt us." Hoist called.
"You sure about that?" Whirl asked as she launched another rotor at Hoist.
Hoist couldn't move fast enough but managed to only get hit in the leg. He crashed to the ground, injured but still functioning.
"Whirl stop!" Wedge cried as he tried to grab her.
But Whirl grabbed him instead and started swinging him around as if he were a toy.
"Ahhhhh!" He screamed as Whirl smashed him into trees and rocks.
"Wedge!" Medix, who had moved the help Hoist, cried.
Meanwhile, Arcee and Airachnid had started their duel.
"So, the vampire got defanged?" Arcee asked as she landed a punched to Airachnid's jaw.
"Of course not darling," Airachnid shoved Arcee to the ground with her extra arms. "Just lost the hunger for energon. But maybe I'll make an exception for yours."
Airachnid prepared to pounce, but Arcee beat her to it. The blue and pink autobot leaped onto Airachnid's back.
The spider bot started violently shaking, trying to whip Arcee off. A
Airachnid let out a howl of pain as Arcee slashed one of her extra arms off.
"You're falling apart Airachnid!" Arcee said.
"Well unlike you," the spider growled. "I can keep it together!" With a final shake, Arcee was violently slammed into the ground.
Aiming her guns, Arcee dared Airachnid to make her move
"Haha," Arichnid laughed at the autobot's patheticness. "You probably don't know this, but that same day you freezed me in a stasis pod, Starscream had been having his own fun."
"Bulkhead told me of it." Arcee said cautiously as she stood up.
Why hadn't Airachnid attacked her yet? What was she playing at?
"Yes, his armada, brigade, parade of himself." Airachnid shook her head. "You know why he failed? Cause his forces were Starscream. Foolish, insecure, paranoid, disloyal Starscream."
"Aren't all you decepticons a little disloyal?" Arcee snarled.
"Come now, Breakdown was one of the good ones wasn't he? How is Knockout doing anyway? Must be pretty lonely with out his conjunx." The spider giggled, circling Arcee.
"Why the trip down memory lane Airachnid?" Arcee asked, her weapons never leaving the con's spark.
"To remind you of the meager forces of both Starscream and Megatron." Airachnid smiled. "And for you to see how weak they were compared to my armada."
That's when the insecticons, who had been so frozen and silent when their leader arrived that Arcee had forgotten they were there, awoke.
With howls and screams of war, the armada started to converge on the rescuebot recruits.
Arcee started to run towards them, but that's when Airachnid struck, pinning Arcee to the ground.
Barring her fangs, Airchnid laughed at her rival. "As you can see, they are much more cable than Starscream."
