Chapter 2

Lucy and Chris quivered with fear as they trudged after spencer making sure to stay in his shadow in case any monster attempted to jump them.
They would hide behind Spencer and let him be eaten first. This wasn't going to end well and she knew it. Every step they took echoed through the ship. It felt like they were being watched. After walking for a few minutes they passed several doors and came to what was obviously the bridge. Everything was in disarry, sparks flew here and there. No one was seen. "they must have crashed", Spencer said as he bent down to pick up a piece of broken glass the size of a tablet. It glitched and a petrified Lucy smacked it out of Spencer's hands.
"what is your problem?" Spencer nearly squeaked. "you wanted to follow me, so please behave and don't break anything else. I beg you"
"ah that was quick."
Startled by the voice the trio turned to see kronox emerge from a door they hadn't noticed.
"I'm guessing you're the owner of this ship.", spencer said hoping the man understood English.
"Emox or rather spencer i think, this is your ship."
It was Spencer's turn to be dumbfounded.
"whoa back up a second, what do you mean my ship?"
"don't you remember, on your 4th Earth year you wanted a flying craft. I would have brought it sooner but there were some unfortunate events that i had to take care of."
Spencer was speechless. The man or alien before him seemed rather familiar and gave off that weird deja vu effect. Maybe he was going crazy, but then again the being before him seemed to know him very well. He wasn't sure what to do, but the alien broke the silence and brought him back to reality.
"come, i know your friends would like to explore the craft. Do not worry, i an the only one aboard aside from the virtual pilot krox."
Not knowing what else to do they followed. Feeling a bit more at ease they followed marveling at the strangeness of actually being in an alien ship.chris who was the last person leaned toward spencer as they were walking and whispered

"you just got busted.Don't ever talk to us about being obsessed with aliens ever again",

"aye cap',", spencer replied still trying to rap his head around what kronox had said earlier, an alien telling him that he was most likely half alien,was his mom even human,was this the end of the world?? At that point spencer realized that he had gone too far into his thoughts,like seriously where did the end of humanity fit into all of this.He shook his head to clear it of all thoughts and decided to enjoy the tour.As they went deeper into the heart of the ship they passed a lot of doors,one of them seemed awfully familiar to spencer. Kronox who was naming things and explaining the use of some certain things to mostly lucy and chris noticed his deja-vu expression and stoped in front of a large double door that looked like an elevator. He pressed the button beside the door and it hissed open. Everyone entered the room which was .. empty. Save for the glowing green pads that made up the walls ceiling and floor of the room.

"what is this place?", chris asked

"I bet it's some kind of escape room", lucy responded

"on the contrary", kronox interjected before the two could start an argument

"this is the simulation room. In here you can practice how to use your powers or how to fight many opponents at once and stay alive until back up arrives. The eredium gas infused plating can withstand high levels of power but it has limits so in no circumstances should you go full out with your power miss lopez. Half at most would still cause a bit of damage. Your kryos powers are much stronger than you realise."

Lucy turned to spencer and smirked.

"guess your not the only one with power."

Kronox continued, " spencer for the safety of your ship and everyone on it at anytime, you should never use this. You could level this place in one punch."

Lucy's triumphant grin disappeared as her mouth hung slightly open in shock.

Spencer whispered into her ear,"don't boast about everything. There's always someone stronger or faster or smarter than you."
