"So we can sleep in the living room my mother works as a nurse and won't be home till 10 in the morning of course and my dad well he usually isn't here...or we could sleep in my room I do have a tv in there but it's an old one my mother gave me when she bought a new one for the living room so it isn't anything fancy, we can also order take out if you'd like? Am I rambling i feel like I'm rambling."
Kate said as she showed liliana around the house.She had just walked walked i to to her room and sat on her bed looking up at Liliana nervously its like she'd never been alone with her before the tension was awkward and Kate thought it was her fault.
"We can just sleep in here i dont really care if your tv is fancy or i came to spend time with my girl." Liliana said with a smile she was actually not as nervous as she thought she would be being around kate brought out a side of her that she really liked she felt confident and like it was easy to be herself with Kate. Kate lit up like she was a pumpkin on halloween. "Well alright then." She said as she got up and closed her bed room door. She walked over to her dresser where she started pulling out a pair of short and an oversized shirt to wear with them. "Take those gross jeans off okay."
She threw the clothes at Liliana and began to pick out a pair of pj pants and a crop top to wear with them. Liliana grabbed the clothes and started to walk into Kate's bathroom when her eyes caught Kate changing right in front of her with no care. She was slowly taking off her cheer uniform causing Lilliana's face to turn red and she walked into the bathroom closing the door behind her.
Oh my lord Liliana thought what had she just seen her face was as red as a cherry she felt as if her heart was going to pound out of her chest. Even though it was a great sex appeal Liliana could only describe the girl as beautiful and precious they had just started dating and she could already tell that she wasn't ready to let Kate go. She was getting too mental attached. After the girls had finished changing they sat on Kate's bed. The were laying on the bed awkwardly watching the tv both of the them not saying a word as if the were so nervous they couldn't even speak.
Kate turned over to see Lilianas eyes weren't on the tv at all but were on her. "What are you looking at baker." She said with a smile on her face. Liliana leaned in slowly and kissed the girl lightly and looked back down at her. "I just think your beautiful okay?" Kate smiled but her eyes were turned back to the tv and as they started talking about the massacre that happened the night before. The people on the news were talking about how no one could believe the murder had done it. "This stupid town it get worst by the minute doesn't it?"
Kate said looking over at Liliana. "You ever think were all actually cursed? Like were stuck here and the rest of the world can live happy lives while were just a few years away from getting massacred?" Liliana said sitting up and looking at Kate. Kate looked down she knew that Liliana had a point that this placed just seemed to be holding everyone down and never letting them go until their last breathe.
"I get it. Trust me m-my mom's sister she was at camp night wing... and it was horrible on our family my mom hardly let me go anywhere growing up scared that i was going to be next." Kate said with a sad look in her her as she looked up at Liliana. Liliana could feel the pain in her words as she said that she knew that deep down Kate was scared and acted brave so no one would get under her skin. Liliana grabbed Kate's hand and squeezed it tight as she continued talking her words being heartfelt and full of meaning
"But i am not going to be the next one dead on the mall floor...I am going to leave this shitty town and I am going to be the biggest person and everyone's going to know my name because my names going to be out there with the stars." Kate said with a hopeful smile. No wonder Kate tried so hard she didn't want to be seen as weak she didn't want her family to be seen as weak...she was amazing. "Your so strong...i wish i could be like you when my mother...k-killed herself."
Liliana began to say as she looked up Kate a bit embarrassed that she wasn't as strong as her. "I felt as if there was no point in trying if the curse was so bad that my mother couldn't stay around its only a matter of time before I'm gone..." the girl said with heartbroken words as the air around them got sour from the topic they were talking about. Kate picked up the girls face "never...ill make sure to take you with me...to the stars...how could i even dare be there with out the brightest star i know." Kate gave the girl a hopeful smile and for the first time in years Liliana felt like she wasn't dealing with everything alone. "Thank you my love." Liliana said kissing the girls forehead. Even though for the rest of the night the girls bonded and giggled all night. They had a moment that would bound the two of them forever. Liliana baker would never forget that night. The girls cuddled and laughed telling jokes about their friends to each other laughing at the moments they had shared together of the years falling asleep in each others arms only a few hour later. This night. The one night.
