𝙲𝚑𝚊𝚙𝚝𝚎𝚛 two
Milani woke up with a bad hangover from the nights events. She wasn't used to going out drinking a lot. So all of this was new to her.
She got out of bed making her way to the bathroom connected to her room where she looked in the mirror seeing her hair was all over the place.
She brushed her teeth, washed her face, and took a quick 10 minute shower. Milani then got dressed in something simple so that she could go out to the grocery store since it was early and not alot of people would be there at this time.
She first made her way into her kitchen taking out a cold water so she could pop a Advil to get rid of the headache that took over her.
Milani grabbed her beige tote bag that sits at the front door putting her wallet and phone in it then she made her way out of the apartment.
She made her way downstairs using the elevator and walked to the parking garage that was accessible from the lobby of her apartment building.
She hopped into her all black Jeep Wrangler and started the engine up. She rolled the windows down in her car before turning the radio on deciding she didn't want to listen to music on Apple Music at the moment.
Milani then made her way to target the one she always goes to thats about a few blocks down from her apartment.
After parking in the target parking garage Milani then made her way into the store heading straight to the food section. Making sure to grab the essential food she needed.
Milani scanned the isles of target wandering around the whole store. This started as a small grocery run and turned into a small target haul.
Milani reached in her phone to grab it as she heard it ringing. Seeing her half brothers name appear across the screen she answered the call. "Hey trey, what's up" she spoke as the call connected "wassup big sis how you been?" He asked "I've been good I got my own apartment and shit you gotta come visit yo" Milani said smiling thinking about her new home "oh yeah about that, I'm moving to ATL next month Lani" he spoke with excitement, he was finally grown enough to move out, Trey was 19 while Milani was 22. "Awww foreal? That's what's up fr I can't wait" she spoke into the phone while still pushing the cart "yeah me and my girl Nia" he spoke referring to his girlfriend of 3 years. Milani met her once in person last year when Trey came to visit ATL. "Aww I'm so happy for y'all foreal" she spoke into the phone "yeah but imma let you go thats what I wanted to let you know and I'll see you sometime next month, love you sis" he sole getting ready to end the call "Ard bye trey love you too" she said then hung up the phone
Milani was overly excited that Trey had as moving to ATL. She was happy that he was finally getting out of the toxic household he was in with his mother and she was also happy to rebuild her bond with her little brother.
Milani pushed the cart up to the front to check out. After getting everything she needed, or more like wanted she paid for her things then left the store. Heading back to the parking garage she loaded her jeep trunk up with everything she bought from the store.
Later on in the day...
Milani was at her apartment chilling as usual with nothing to Do. Other than doing hair, she did the same thing almost everyday. At first it was cool to be alone and enjoying her own space but at times she wished that she had somebody around to bond with at times.
She grabbed her MacBook off of her coffee table, opening it up she made her way to her website to look at her latest bookings seeing that Hendrix from last need did book a appointment with her. She thought he was a cool guy. Very laidback and minds his business.
She saw that Zola had already booked another appointment to get her hair done in 2 weeks as usual thats Zola for you can't keep a style.
Her and Zola came up together. Zola was a real estate agent, while Milani was a stylist. They had been friends since sophomore year of high school. They went through hard times in their friendship but they have always been close friends. No best friends title needed.
Milani looked at the time seeing it was now 5:49pm and realized she hadn't ate since she been back from the store. She decided to do something simple for her dinner tonight and make fried chicken with a small dish of Mac and cheese for herself.
After Milani got done cooking she laid across her couch with her phone in her hand scrolling on Instagram. She went to check her DM's & Request seeing she had a lot of people saying her work was good and lame niggas trying to get at her per usual.
The thought of a new relationship hasn't crosssd her mind alot. Although Milani wanted to find somebody to love her just as much as she would love them she knew that would be very rare. Everybody in ATL was either in a relationship already or wasn't no good. She needed somebody to be her peace. She needed somebody who wanted a long term relationship and would want to someday start a family with her.
She needed a lover.
Milani got up putting her dishes into her sink. And then made her way to her front door after hearing somebody knock. She looked through her peep hole to see Zola standing there.
She opened the door to see Zola standing at the door with some food in her hand. "Girlllll hello to you just coming to my house like this" Milani spoke laughing letting Zola in "oh my bad hey Lani what you do today?" She asked putting the bag of food on my kitchen counter. "Oh don't lock the door Sean and Hendrix on they way up" she spoke holding a laugh in
"Oh my god zola you get on my nerves" Milani spoke playfully rolling her eyes "we was bored so I told them to pull up on you Chile" she said pulling the food out her bag "I bought you some food girl" she said putting the food in the microwave to heat up "oh girl I already ate I made fried chicken and Mac and cheese" Milani said smirking already ready for Zola saying she wants some "and you didn't tell me? Your a wild friend lani" Zola said poking her lip out
"Tell you what?" Sean said coming through the door with Hendrix behind him "hey y'all and I made mac and cheese but ain't tell her, I made her some though it's in the fridge in a container already Zo" i said looking over at her "wassup Lani" Hendrix said making his way towards my couch to take a seat
"Wassup I see you booked your appointment for next week" milani said jumping up into a bar stools In the kitchen "oh yeah I did, I need my hair done ASAP" he spoke chuckling faking his hat off "Damnn your shit fucked up" Zola said laughing at his hair that was all over the place "yeah it most definitely is you look crazy eshit Hendrix" Sean said scrunching his face up
"Man shut the hell up" he said putting the hat back on "ohhhh yeah Zola Trey moving to the A next month" milani said jumping down from the stool then making her way to the living room to sit On the couch
"Who is trey?" Sean asked looking up from his phone "That's my brother, hold on let me show you a picture of him you might know what he looks like then" Milani said Pulling out her phone then going to his Instagram to go find a picture of him, she showed her phone to screen to trey "ohhh that's Sean Sean!" Trey spoke shocked "Thats your brother foreal Lani?" Hendrix asked
