THE MEETING

"HIS MARRIAGE OR YOURS?"

MINI POV

"Mini, you've got to make a good impression! Your brother's entire life may depend on this meeting." said my mother for what seemed like the tenth time in one hour trying to force me to wear a red saree.

"Fine." I finally gave in.

While getting ready, I decided to wear a pant underneath my saree and carry some quest supplies in a big fancy purse I borrowed from my mother (my mother thinks that the bag is just for show) just in case.

I read the prophecy this morning. It seems as if there are more than one set of gods. This is bad.

We were just ready to go when the doorbell rang. That's strange. Who could it be?

I opened the door and to my shock saw the Potatoes!

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"Hello. We are here to meet Mini. Who are you?" Aru replied with a silly grin on seeing me in a sari.

"Shut up, Shah. My mother forced me to wear this."

"Why?"

"Um... We are going to my brother's girlfriend, Deepti's house to discuss about their marriage."

"You sure? Cause it looks as if the discussion is going to be about your marriage." Aru said without removing her grin from her face.

I rolled my eyes before repeating my question.

Brynne answered me, "To discuss the prophecy, dumbass!"

Aiden : "Don't be mean, B."

"But where is Sheela?", I asked.

"She needed rest so she decided to spend today with Krithika Auntie." replied Nikita.

"Come in, guys" I said.

They all sat down on the couch before Aru began, "Well, the prophecy mentions the daughter of death, so, it obviously means you. But the rest is a bit weird. It mentions different faiths. Ooo... Do you think other mythologies are real too? Do you think Thor, Loki, Hela and the other are real too? Does it mean that.."

"No, Shah. The marvel universe isn't real", Aiden interupted Aru before she could say something stupid.

"Aww!", Aru and Nikita, who Aru had made a marvel fan, said in unison.

Just then my mother, father and brother came downstairs.

My mother said while climbing down, "Yamini, let's go or else we'll get late."

Then she saw the Potatoes and said, "Hello, Pandavas and Aiden. I didn't know you all had come over."

Rudy whined at this, "Auntie, I am also there!"

Aiden whispered to his cousin to shut up before saying, "Okay then, we must get going. Mini, come over at the museum as soon as you are free."

After saying our farewells, the Potatoes went back to the museum and my family went to Deepti's house.
