Lauren Marie, a 5-year-old child was going to sleep on the night of December 23rd 2001. Her mother was tucking her in. "You know I love you with all my heart right?" her mother asked out of the blue. "Yes mommy, I love you too." "Well, mommy did something wrong,but don't worry baby everything's gonna be alright" she said in a reassuring,sooothing voice. "I have this necklace for you that's been passed down from generation to generation and I want you to have it, I think you're ready." What did she mean by "ready"? Then she sat a bag beside Lauren's bed,"This has everything you'll need." Tears started to form in her eyes and blur her vision. "I love you Alliyah" her mother said while hugging her tighter than usual. "Why are you crying mommy?" her mother looked at the clock and whispered "7:00..." Just then the doorbell rang. Lauren's mother walked down the stairs to the front door very slowly. Then all you could hear was yelling and movement. Lauren's mother quickly came back into Lauren's room to hug her goodbye once and for all. "Go hide in the closet" she said nervously. No questions asked, somehow Lauren knew exactly what was going to happen next. As soon as Lauren's mother opened the bedroom door "he" was standing right there....
