Of course, like all relationships between friends, there's the stage of inevitable awkwardness when you break up.
Tension that could easily be cut by a knife.
Exchanging glances and awkward conversations, it wasn't the best.
But during that time, I knew I had fucked up.
We used to be inseparable. Then I flew us far apart by wedging a relationship in between, creating a space that was not about to close anytime soon.
The glances our friends would give each other when we all sat together at the table. Was quite funny how they thought they were slick. They weren't.
During that time was when I truly felt like I lost the relationship we once had. The friendship we once had.
