So, as the title of this story suggests. I have FND. Which if you don't know, stands for "functional neurological disorder". My brain and body don't properly send/recieve signals. FND is something that you develop, usually due to some sort of high stress. Around 70% of FND cases are caused by childhood trauma. I'm not 100% what mine is caused by, but if I had to guess I'd say it's a mix of my own childhood trauma (which is ongoing trauma, due to the fact I'm still a child, so I can't escape my situation) and the stress of the pandemic. There are many symptoms caused by FND, many people don't have all of the symptoms. However you can develop new symptoms, as well as stop experiencing symptoms you already have. The symptoms I experience are  tics, periods or impaired speech, chronic headaches, limb pains, tremors, dystonia, and tensing of muscles.
