Chapter 6: The Unexpected Date

So here is chapter 6, and since we haven't posted in a while, we will try to post more now. Sorry for the inconvenience, but here ya go gurlies!!!!

(Camryn's P.O.V."

Before we knew it, the two hours passed by so fast that I wasn't expecting Jack walking over to us. Once I saw him, I immediately stood up, wiping the grass of of my clothes.

"Hi Jack." I said while all the boys stood up behind me.

"Hello beautiful." Jack said trying to "So, are you ready to go?" he asked while holding out his arm for mine.

"Yeah, sure, just let me say goodbye to my friends." He gave me a small nod while i turned around to look at the boys. I immediately looked at Harry. His jaw was clenched and his hands in fists at his sides. Why was he so angry?

I put on a confused smile while I said goodbye to all the boys. all of them had a synchronized, 'goodbye' except for Harry, he looked at me and said, "Bye, Cam." with a forced smile on his face. I smiled again, turning around to take Jack's arm. I had to admit, I did kind of like Jack, he was a nice and well fit boy, but something just felt, off. I couldn't put my finger on it but it just didn't feel, right.

(Harry's P.O.V.)

"Hi Jack." I heard Camryn say. I opened my eyes and stood up. Who was that and what was he doing talking to Camryn?

"Hello beautiful." he said. I instantly felt a tug in my chest. "So, are you ready to go?" he asked and held out his arm. I couldn't watch, why did I feel like this. I can't be jealous of him. I don't like Camryn, that way. Do I? No, I can't. Why can't I? I just kept trying to convince myself that I don't like her, but something felt wrong whenever I said I didn't. It felt like a lie.

"Who is he and what is he doing here?" I whispered to Niall.

"I think it's Cam's date. I think I heard her say his name was Jack." I don't know why I felt so sad when Jack got here to pick up Cam.

"Yeah, sure, just let me say goodbye to my friends."  I felt happy that she tought of us but I still felt a little hurt. After we all said goodbye and Cam walked across the street, we all went back to my room. I sat on my bed as all the guys sat around the room. Liam came up to me and said, "You know it's quite obvious that you like her." 

"Yeah, it is VERY obvious." Zayn scoffed. I could tell he was kind of angry. "Why don't you just tell her how you feel? she obviously likes you too."

"Well I don't think she likes me if she would go out with that prick, Jack." I spat at them.

"Come on Harry, you don't even know him. Maybe he is nice." Niall said.

"And maybe all he wants to do with Camryn is sex."

"Harry, come on, don't jump to conclusions." Liam said.

"Yeah, I think you should just talk to her and tell her how you feel about her." Niall said.

"How do you know that I even like her?! Maybe I don't!" I raised me voice and everyone was taken aback.

"Well, I'm sorry to tell you this, but, you like Camryn." Zayn said softly. I know that I liked her I just kept telling myself that I don't. Why do I do this so much? Why do I push people away?

"Because you don't want to get hurt" Niall said out loud. I now realized that I was thinking out loud.

I like Camryn, and I think I will tell her.

"I'm going to tell her." I said.

"Good. Now let's do something fun like this." Zayn said while pulling up a controller to the Xbox. I nodded and sat down beside him grabbing another controller.

(Camryn P.O.V.)

This wasn't any normal date that I have ever been on. This was more like 2 friends getting tea at a cafe. Which it kind of was, but Jack seemed like it was something more. I noticed sometimes that he tried to take my hand in his and trying to hold my gaze but I kept looking away.

"So, How is it like rooming with Jeremy?" I asked him,"You know, him being that crazy and all."

He chuckled softly, it was kind of sexy and my heart skipped a beat.

"He isn't that bad actually, he's a really good friend."

"Oh that's good." I said still staring at my tea.

"Come on, Cam you haven't looked at me all evening." Jack said. I looked up and my eyes widened at the sight of a curly haired boy with emerald green eyes and those plump hot pink lips that made my heart flutter. I shook my head of the vision of Harry I saw. I was hallucinating. I was seeing his face on every boy I saw walk by. Why Harry? Why not Jack? Why don'y I feel the same around Jack that I do around Harry?

"Is everything alright, Cam?"

"Yeah, I'm fine. I'm just tired, I need rest, can you walk me to my room?"

"Of course." He said quickly after paying the lady. We stood up and he held out his arm again waiting for me to take it. As I did, he smiled. We walked back to my dorm and as we did, we saw a sight that I couldn't forget. I saw Jade and Jeremy snogging each other right outside of me and Jade's room. I cleared my throat and said,"I'm sorry to interrupt your little snog-fest but I want to get into my room now." I heard Jack chuckle to himself while Jade and Jeremy were bright red. "I'm sorry, Cam!" Jade said feeling guilty.

"It's okay, Jade. Once I'm inside, my two best friends can keep snogging each other." Jade smiled and grabbed Jeremy's hand. "Awwwww" I said. Jeremy looked at me and pushed my shoulder lightly,"Shut up." I couldn't help but laugh while I turn to Jack. "Bye, Jack. See you in class tomorrow."

"Bye, Cam" I leaned up, kissed him on the cheek, and hugged him. "Thank you, today was fun." He just smiled and walked away. I felt happy but confused. That hallucination I had of Harry. He's just my friend, I can't LIKE him. Can I? I think I do. Why?

I hit the realization when Jade came back into the room smiling like an idiot. "Hey, Jade?"  asked.

"Yeah, Cam?"

"I think I love Harry."
