I remember the very first time I saw you. It was summertime, the perfect time to visit the beach. Of course, being the awful child I was back then, I ended up being seperated from my parents.
I paniked. 'What are they going to do?'
I cried. 'I don't want to stay in the closet again...'
"You lost, kid?"
And that was all I needed to hear.

I called your house with my new cell today. I love it when you pick up the phone and say "Hello? Hello? Anyone there?"
Today was different though.
Instead of hearing your rough voice, I heard a young woman. "Hello? Is anybody - Stop Marcus! - there? Stop ticklin-" I hung up.
Who the hell was she?
Was she a sister? No, she couldn't have been...Family are not nice towards one another.
A girlfriend maybe? It has to be. That bitch! Why the heck is she with him? She's not right for you; she can never love you as much as I do! Does she know your favorite animal? Your shirt? Your favorite toothpaste, store, shoe...?
No. There's no way, absolutely no way, that she would know all of that. Only I'm allowed to know those things.
No one deserves you unless they know everything about you.
And I'm the only one that does know every single little detail about you.

Ha! It took weeks of planning, but that bitch, Ashlyn, is dead! No one would even think to look for her; afterall I did wait until she got into an argument with you. For now, it'll just look like she left for a couple days to get her ego back and when she doesn't come crawling into the arms of her "true love" it'll be like she just left you for forever...I'll know what actually happened though.
The story? I found her at the local coffee shop and got her to open up about her problems.
She mentioned you.
A lot.
Called you a good-for-nothing-bastard. I'd hurt her for that.
Then she started crying, so I offered her a ride home. "Really? You'll do that for me? Oh, you're so sweet!" How I hated her stupid, nasally voice! I smiled anyway. She gave me directions and then we rode off.
I went the way she said to go before turning down a different road. "Um, you turned the wrong way."
"I heard on the radio that there was a pretty bad wreck down that way, so I'll just take this road."
"Oh. Okay then!" Stupid bitch.
I pulled over after a few miles. "Got a flat tire," is what I said. "Want to help me with it?"
"Sure. Just tell me what to do." Okay then. I told you to get out of the car, while I went towards the back to get the tools.
A note and a noose.
She didn't notice as I went up behind her; she was too busy trying to find the nonexistant problem with the tire.
It was easy killing her. About as easy as pouring a bowl of cereal in the morning. All I had to do was slip the noose around her neck and pull as hard as I could. It did the trick. I wasn't so sure if she was dead, but I didn't care.
She would be soon enough.
I dragged her to a tree some distance away. It took awhile to tie the rope on far enough onto the branch so it would look like a proper suicide. But I did it.
I stuck the note onto a piece of her clothing. It was nothing special; just what you would expect to find on the usual suicide note.
I walked back to the vehicle and drove away. I had some sleep to catch up on.

You called me today. Asked me if I could come over to talk. I said yes, of course. "What time do you want me over?"
"Anytime is fine with me."
I said I would be over in a few.
We mainly ended up talking about that bitch, Ashlyn. You said that she hadn't been answering her cell. I said that she probably didn't even want to be with you anymore. You agreed. We drank a few beers.
"Kid-I mean, Jake, you ever have a girl like Ash before?"
"A few times. I'm a real lady-killer," I laughed at the bad joke, "That's what the guys say anyway."
"Ha! As if! I've never met any of your girls. I bet you're a virgin still."
"How'd you guess? And it's probably only me." It's only me you're allowed to look at. Only me.
Just me.
