You and Vinnie had been in the talking stage for about 3 weeks, sending flirty texts here and there, sitting together when you and your friends would hang out, and even going on little dates. Everyone thought you two were dating, but you guys had yet to make anything official.
Vinnie had asked you out to dinner tonight, and you were hoping this would finally be the night he would ask you to be his girlfriend.
You were standing at your bathroom counter getting ready for the night, applying makeup, after you had just finished your hair. You felt super nervous, almost like you were a kid again in highschool getting ready for your first date.
Vinnie was picking you up at 7, and it was now 6:49, as the time grew closer, you only got more nervous.
You walk out of your bathroom, making sure to unplug your hair straightener, and switch off the light before walking into your bedroom and standing in front of your full body mirror.
You felt oddly confident tonight, Vinnie told that you guys would be going to a pretty high end restaurant, so you made sure to dress up. You were wearing; a simple black halter dress, along with your black converse, and some jewelry to match.
Right as you finished checking your outfit, you phoned pinged, and you picked it up to see it was a text from vinnie saying he was outside your apartment building.
You quickly responded, and grabbed a small jacket, just in case, and headed out the door.
After exiting your apartment building, you found Vinnie waiting for you outside his car. You smile at him and walk in front of him, checking out his outfit, simple but dressy. He was wearing all black as well; black pants, black button up, with the top buttons undone.
"You look amazing y/n" Vinnie smiled
"You don't look too bad yourself" you joked, lightly punching his arm." Alright let's get going before we miss our reservation." He spoke walking you around to the other side of the car, and opening the door for you, followed by you mumbling a quiet 'thank you'.
The two of you made casual conversation on the drive there, with music playing in the background.
On the way there you wondered how Vinnie looked so calm the entire time, while you were freaking out. Little did you know Vinnie was just as nervous as you, but was trying to act as calm as possible.

After what seemed to be a 20 minute drive, you had arrived at the restaurant, looking up at the sign to see that it was your favorite place to eat.
"Dude what the hell, how'd you know I loved this place!" You said excitedly, looking over at him smiling.
"I asked around a little bit" he responded, getting out of the car and opening your door, and guiding you to the restaurant.

After finishing your amazing date Vinnie brought you back to your apartment, walking you up to your door.
"I had a lot of fun tonight" you giggled, looking up at him.
"I did too, and I kind of- um wanted to know- you don't have to answer right now-." Vinnie spoke.
"Vinnie! Tell me already!" You laughed at how nervous he got.
"Right, sorry. I was uh wondering if you wanted to be my girlfriend, You just mean a lot to me, and I really like you y/n." Vinnie bit his lip, waiting for your answer.
"I would love to be your girlfriend, finally you asked, I've been waiting forever." You joked rolling your eyes playfully as you both chuckled.
"See you later, yeah?"
"Yeah of course, text you when I get home?" Vinnie asked.
"Sounds good." Y/n replied, giving Vinnie a quick peck on the lips, making him blush.
You unlocked your door and watched him walk back to the elevator, you then closed it with a huge smile on your face.
