Lake Apologies and Plays

________

A groggy Lexy woke up from her sleep, she looked around her cabin and saw that she was the only one there. She started mumbling incoherent words as she tried getting up from the bed as her eyes dared to close again.

Lexy finally got up and once again looked around the room looking for her bag, when she found it, she quickly took her clothes out and went directly to the bathroom (I think the bathrooms/showers are separated from the cabins but let's just go with it) she showered and changed into a tank top and some shorts, and underneath that she wore a swimsuit.

She went out of the cabin and saw kids running around, laughing and having fun. She walked to the mess hall to get something to eat before starting her lake adventure. She saw Alice and Cindy cleaning together, a big surprise to say the least.

"Good morning" she said with a grin and walked towards them.

"You mean... good afternoon. Is like 2pm already, dumbass" Alice pointed out and looked at her with a sly smile and then laughed at Lexy's shocked expression.

"You overslept." Cindy said as she looked up from her work with a small awkward smile.

Lexy's shocked expression didn't change as she started freaking out. She had missed the whole morning; she was so screwed.

She did a speed run towards a bowl of fruit that was very conveniently in one of the closest tables to her and took whatever her hand grabbed first, that being a peach.

She yelled goodbye to the girls as she ran out of the mess hall and went to the lake where she was supposed to meet Ziggy and Nick. She was clearly very late.

Lexy ran like her life depend on it, which it kind of did. She was out of breath and sweating like a sinner in church, she thought she would collapse with how much exercising she was doing.

You would think since Lexy is such hyper girl, she would have more energy and a more athletic build, well you'd be wrong she has never tried to exercise correctly in her life, she was too lazy to actually try. But for some reason she could still throw a mean punch and could carry someone as if they were as light as a feather.

And here she was running, panting and just thinking that it would have been a better idea just to lay on the ground and stay there for the rest of her life, but her body wouldn't let her, in a way she was still determined to get to her lovers as fast as she could she already made them wait enough. And with all the running she didn't notice her poor peach falling to ground.
