I support the pro-gun movement. This is because as an American, i have the right to own a firearm thanks to the 2nd Amendment. A lot of people think we should ban weapons, but that will cause more harm than good. If we ban guns, then criminals will be more desperate to get their hands on one and go to great lengths to do so. People think that you can just walk into a store and buy a gun, this is not true. You have to do background checks, show your license, and show proof that you have taken a gun safety class. Also, if you are one of those people who think that the AR in AR-15 means 'assault rifle', you are wrong. It stands for Armalite Rifle. If it were an assault rifle, it would be fully automatic, not semi. I get that it "looks scary", but it shoots basically the same round as a .22.
