i was sitting on the couch waiting for my owner

As i was waiting i decided to look out the window. I hopped off the couch i walked to the window and hopped on the bridge if it, i moved the blinds aside to see outside. It was pretty cloudy, i went fully behind the blinds to see more outside. I was just looking at the birds until i saw a flash in the clouds. I quickly looked at the clouds to see what that was-
*Thunder noise*
I flinched at the noise. 'what was that?!' I saw little rain droplets on the window. I sighed and hoped out the window. I formed into my nEko- (I fear that word-), form i walked to our shared bedroom and flopped on the bed. I heard the noise it again but it was louder "When is he coming back.." i mumbled, i hid under the covers waiting for him to come back.
⛈️Few Mins later⛈️
I heard the front door open, i got up and ran outside our bedroom "I'm home darling!" He said. i ran to him and hugged him "What was taking you so long!" I said "Sorry darling i was really busy today" he answered, he picked me up and walked to the couch. He sat down and placed me on his lap. "i'm so glad your here.." i whispered, i saw the flash again, i hug him tightly and buried my face into his chest. "are you scared of the storm?" He asked, i nodded. "its ok darling i'm here.." he hummed quietly. i start to slowly fall asleep on his chest.
"Rest well darling~"
