Darcy's POV
I laugh as Dustin pulls me down the street, "why do you need another one?" I question. We were suppose to go to the library to study for finals but Dustin insisted we go to the tattoo parlor. He has a sleeve already and various tattoos on his chest. I have snakebites and that's it.
"Because I haven't gotten one in months" he whines. I roll my eyes, "a month." We're closer than most siblings I tell Dustin everything, we're together all the time, always. When we walk into the shop the few people turn in our direction. Larry, the man who owns the parlor greets us, "hey, Dustin, Darcy what you come here for?". He's known us for awhile considering we come here a lot, he's also Italian and doesn't speak English all that well.
"I saw this really cool tattoo online the other day and it's so cool." He explains.
"Hmm I not very busy today, come back, I do tattoo now." Larry walks into the back room and Dustin follows him in. I sit down and flip through a magazine while I wait. After a few hours Dustin comes back out smiling. "Show me." I stand up. he lifts his shirt and has a big music note to the left of his ribs, right then my phone starts to go off ,I pull it out putting it up to my ear. "Hello is this Darcy Foster?" The voice is strange and I know I've never heard it before. "Yes that's me." I shuffle my feet.
"This is Dr. Goldwyn your mother was in a car accident she's currently in surgery, we have her at St. Renalds hospital." my breathing stops and Dustin looks down at me worried before taking the phone and talking to him himself, Dustin always acted older and more mature though we're exactly the same age. I can't believe this, my mom. I hope she's okay I don't even know how bad this is yet, we don't even have anyone to call for her. We don't have any family except her. Before I know it we are on the subway heading farther into the city, to the hospital.
