"Hey, Heath, um... I-"
"HEATY BOO!" Catty happily screamed, jumping onto Heath's back, causing him to stumble forward a little bit.
"Woah, Cat. Hop off." Heath said, chuckling. Catty giggled and obeyed. Heath turned around and Catty immediately hugged him with her arms around his neck as Heath returned the hug. Purrsephone cocked her head to the side with a confused look on her face with a hint of jealousy.
"Uh, Heath... who is Catty?" Purrsephone questioned, raising her left eyebrow. Heath stiffened and released Catty from his hold and slowly turned around.
"DUH," Catty said, rolling her eyes. "I'm his-" "Best friend." Heath retorted, interrupting Catty. Catty glared at Heath as he awkwardly laughed. "Best friend? I thought I was your ghoulfriend." Catty said, still glaring at Heath.
"Ghoulfriend?! You're cheating on me?!" Purrsephone shrieked, stomping a foot and balling her hands into fists by her sides. Heath was taken aback by her sudden outburst. "No, Seph, you got it all wrong. You see, Cat a-"
Slap!
"Shut your blazes! I have nothing wrong!" Purrsephone shouted, slapping Heath. "And I don't ever wanna see or hear from you again." And with that said, Purrsephone flipped her midnight black hair over her shoulder, it brushing over Heath's face, and stalked off in the other direction.
Heath just stared after her, astonished of what just happened. She didn't even let him successfully lie! Catty, on the other paw, just giggled like a little schoolgirl, apparently amused by the scene.
Heath turned to Catty. "I still have you?" Heath questioned more than stated. Catty instantly shook her head. "No, you said I'm just your 'best friend.' I don't want to be your 'best friend,' I want to be your ghoulfriend." And just as she was about to walk away, Heath grabbed her arm and spun her around so she was facing his gorgeous face.
"You are my ghoulfriend, Cat." Heath gently said, staring into her big, cute pink eyes. Catty had confusion all over her face.
"But- then, how come Purrsephone said that you-" Heath interrupted her with a soft, gentle kiss. Of course, Catty got lost in the moment and responded to the kiss, wrapping her arms around his neck. Heath smirked, knowing that he very well had an effect on Catty.
He felt Catty smile into the kiss so he wrapped his arms around her hips to help her kiss himself because he was so tall. She actually had to stand on her tippie toes to reach his full, plump, undeniably sexy lips.
Catty soon parted her lips where a little moan slipped out, making Catty gasp and cover her mouth. Heath chuckled and spoke.
"The reason I said you were my best friend is because I wanted to let Purrsephone down easily. Where as, if I said you were my ghoulfriend, she woulda' flipped out a whole lot more and dug her claws in someone." Heath explained, shoving his hands into his pockets. Catty rolled her eyes.
"Purrsephone is just over protective and easily jealous." Catty snarled. Heath smiled a little bit at that. "Wanna have a party with our friends?" Catty asked. Heath shrugged and did a little nod. "Good." Catty said and called all of her friends on her contact list.
As they answered the call, Catty immediately spoke. "Hey, guys and ghouls! You wanna have a party with me and Heath? If so, call all of your other friends and invite them! Heath and I are super bored. Please come! Smoochies!" Catty squealed into her iCoffin as her friends giggled.
Catty mostly had kitty friends. Maybe a few other types of monster friends, but mostly kitties.
When Catty turned to Heath, she found him on the other side of his back porch with his iCoffin to his ear. A few seconds later, the phone call ended and Heath put his iCoffin in his back pocket. "Well, I called everyone on my contact list. But they didn't say if they're comin' or not." Heath said, sitting on a nearby chair and laid his head back.
