5:30AM and the first thing I hear is my mom screaming my name.

"Victoria! We need to get going! We're going to lose our flight! COME ON!"

I slowly get up from my bed, I need to get ready to go to the airport. My room is full of boxes. I'm moving, if you can't tell. And I don't want to, hell, is the last thing I want.

But I know it's not my dad's fault, I mean his boss told him a few months ago that this would happen so he could choose if he wanted to stay in that job or not. Obviously he chose to stay, but I don't blame him, I would have done the same thing. He always dreamed about being an economist so yeah I'm happy because he actually is living his dream.

My mom recently quit her job, but she said the first thing she wanted to do in Chino Hills is getting a job at a veterinary. She loves animals, and it's ironic we don't have a pet. I really want to get a cat but right now it isn't the perfect time. When she met my dad they rescue a little puppy and gift him to an old lady that had lost her husband a few days ago. Everytime I hear that story I see a big smile on my mom's face.

I have a younger brother, he's 5, his name is Ian. He's the sweetest boy I have ever met, well, it's not like I've met a lot of boys. Just a few, I remember the only boy I liked, his name was Brian. Apparently I wasn't his type, I'm nobody's type. But let's just say I don't really care, usually girls at my age (17) care more about her looks and boys and parties and stuff, but when it comes to me it's just... I don't care, is it weird? Yes. It is.

When I was fifteen my parents used to think that I was depressed because I didn't have many friends, until I met my real friends. Grace, oh Grace, she is my best friend in the whole world. I'm going to miss her so much. She's the type of friend that you can count on no matter what, she won't judge you, she's like a sunshine. Grace is always smiling, I envy her because of that. Not like I'm jealous of her, no, but she has that facility to always look the positive side of everything, I wish that could be me.

7:06 am and I was already sitting on the plane. 7:16 am and the plane was full. 7:26 am and the flight attendant said the plane was about to take off. 7:36 am and the plane took off. 7:37 am and I was now officialy living New Jersey.

"Good morning ladies and gentlemen, we have safely arrived at the California Airport (a/n: I don't know how it's called) ...and we hope you have a great day! Thank you for choosing flying with us!" After I arrived at my now new house and got all my stuff back, I decided to go for a walk. I wanted to know more about "Chino Hills" and what can I do in here. It is a nice neighbourhood, it's calm, I like it. I saw a Starbucks coffee and decided to go in. I checked my phone and it read 11:49 am, I should drink a coffee, after all I didn't had breakfast this morning.

It was now 12:53 pm and I was bored, so I decided maybe I should go to school today, I don't have anything to do. My mom agreed. You might think it's weird that I want to go to school, but it's my senior year! I should have fun, and if it's a new school then I should try to make friends as soon as possible and I'm sure it's going to be hard.

I got ready for my first day of class, and then headed to the school. Obviously I was nervous, my hands were shaking a lot.

The first thing I needed to do was to look for the office. I was so lost, thank God nobody was there, I would be so embarassed. And with that said, the bell rang. All the doors opened and there were so many teenagers running, and talking, and I still couldn't find the office.

I wasn't looking where I was walking and I ran into someone. A tall boy. His eyes were blue like the sky, "oh, uhm, I'm sorry," I say. Awkward.

"I'm sorry, I'm so stupid, wait, are you new?" he says.

"Yes, and kind of lost too," I answer and he laughs.

"Well, the office is to the left, go there and sign papers and stuff."

"Thank you-..." I really didn't know his name and he seemed to notice because the next thing he said was "Nash, my name is Nash Grier, what about you?"

"My name is Victoria Juergens," I smile.

"Nice to meet you Victoria, but unfortunally I have to go to class. Meet me at lunch, I'll introduce you to my best friend."

"Sure, thank you Nash."

I was on my way to the office and I couldn't stop thinking about Nash, he is cute, but it's my first day, I can't be thinking about boys. I just met him and he was nice and polite, maybe people at Chino Hills is like this, not just him.

Once I arrived at the office I knocked on the door, an old lady handed me some papers that I had to sign, as I was receiving my schedule, two boys went out of the principal's office, I think they got in a fight because one had a black eye and the other had his nose bleeding.

The lovely lady told me to wait on the waiting room until the bell will ring. I went there and saw the boys, I sat between them because there were only three chairs. The one with the black eye broke the silence, "so, are you new here?"

I was going to answer until the other one answered first, "no shit, Sherlock" okay, he is rude.

"Yes, I'm new." The last thing I want right now is the two of them to get into another fight and me being there.

Finally the bell rang and it was lunch time, which meant Nash and making friends? Maybe? It's not like a have a crush on him, or something like that. He's the only person I know here, so I'm excited I'm going to actually talk to someone right now.

I searched for him for what seemed less than thirty seconds, he was searching for me as well. He was alone, he said he would introduce me to his best friend, didn't he?

I sat next to him and he asked for my schedule, I gave it to him and he told me we had a lot of classes together.

He asked about my family, how I lived in New Jersey and stuff like that until I heard another voice, "hey man."

"Where have you been, bro? I wanted to introduce you to someone." Nash says.

"Principal's office, the usual, who is her?" I turned around and saw him. The rude boy, the one with the nose bleeding.

"I-I'm uhm, my name is Victoria." I was so nervous because he is intimating. His eyes are dark, he's tall, white teeth, he has a look... I can't even describe it, he looks like a typical bad boy, he is attractive but he seems... I don't know, he has sad eyes, he looks angry, mad, rough. What can I say? I barely even know this guy, I just can assume he gets in trouble a lot.

"Oh yeah, we already met," he says looking at Nash.

"You two already met? How?" Nash asks, curious, "at the office" I say looking back at him.

"Cam look who is coming," Nash says amused, who?

"Hey baby!" a girl says and sits on Cameron's lap, she looks a little bit... slutty, wearing a pair of really really short shorts and a crop top that you can see her breasts.

"Hi babe," Cameron says.

While they were making out, me and Nash were talking, he is a really interesting guy. He told me about his life back in North Carolina, and his brothers. How he loves his little sister, he showed me pictures of her, she's really cute.

I didn't notice Cameron and his girlfriend (which I still didn't know her name) stopped sucking on each other faces, until I noticed Cameron staring at me, I was even more intimidated.

Do I have something on my face?

"You know what?! I don't want you to come over tonight Cameron!" the girl says and leaves, she seemed really mad.

"Dude, what's wrong with Olivia?" Nash asks.

"I don't know," it's the only thing that Cameron says while he was still staring at me.

But I didn't mind,

I didn't mind at all.
