no one took the news well, but no one was mad at hansol ( or anyone, for that matter ). it was understandable, knowing the former member for so many years, that he'd want to keep it unknown. he didn't like others knowing he was in pain.
they visited jihoon's grave often, usually leaving flowers and letters, sometimes a couple of tears as well ( from seungkwan and soonyoung ).
there are still those times where members would get teary-eyed from the memories they had together with jihoon. like when some members decided to rewatch some of their pre-debut videos, or whenever they heard ' simple ' start playing in the hybe lobby.
as for the public, they would never know what actually happened to jihoon ( although there was always speculation, it was never confirmed ).
the wound of jihoon's departure and death would never fully heal, but slowly, the pain was easier to deal with. even the leaders, who were the most impacted, eventually learned that it was okay to start a new chapter; with or without jihoon.
but even if jihoon lived in their hearts for the rest of time, seventeen would never be complete again.
