Painful Shards

Ryder's POV 3rd Person

    It came towards Ryder, then he saw the pup tag and realized it was Chase. Ryder forgot about the bolder and tried getting up to hug Chase, but gridded in teeth in pain.
    "Ryder, are you okay?" Chase said, coming next to Ryder.
    "I'm fine Chase." he replied as he tried to left himself out.
    "Hang on, I'll get you out!" Chase said as he leapt onto some rocks.
    "Alright, I pull you push!" he said and started tugging at Ryder's shoulder sleeve.
    Ryder push and tried to ignore the pain, but the bolder wouldn't budge. They both sighed, then Chase got into another position. He tried lifting the bolder with Chase under it, and they ended up getting it off Ryder.
    "Now cmon Ryder!"
    "Alright Chase." Ryder chuckled.
    As he tried getting up his legs didn't work at all, it felt like painful jabs in his lower body. Chase turned back after realizing he was not being followed. Ryder was trying to pull himself up, but there was no use.
    Chase ran up, trying to help Ryder up. It was painful to Chase to hear his pain, but he had to get Ryder away from here, it was to dangerous. Minutes speed by and Suddenly everything gets lighter. Confused, Chase runs to the giant opening where the tower split. He sees Rubble, Rocky, and Skye. He tried barking for them, but he was to far away for them to possibly near him.
    "Pups, we need help!" Ryder said after taking out his phone. Chase ran over to Ryder, "Yeah!"
