Castle

Here I am in my castle,

Inside these fortified walls;

I relax and I sit and I dine

In grand majestic halls.

Here I stand in my castle,

Protected from all the world;

Never to be confronted

By a single person in the world.

Gun turrets are all around;

On towers in e’ery corner they’re bound,

When threatened give off a comforting sound

And any and every threat they can pound.

Surrounded securely by a moat

Around my fortified castle,

My trusty guns I man with a rope

While I sit back in my saddle.

Low and behold when I suddenly find,

That the draw bridge’s been open all this time;

An army is rushing into my castle

And my walls mean nothing this time.
