I'm not ready (SJ) Part 1

You are Scarlett Johansson's 8 year old daughter. You decided that you want to take after your mother and start acting but fame is a difficult thing.

8 am

You run into Scarlett's bedroom and get into bed beside her. Scarlett feels breathing on her face and opens her eyes to see you just staring at her. "Hello
Y/N how can I help you today?" she says whilst laughing. You look at her and say "I wanna tell you something,". When you said that Scarlett immediately thought something was wrong so she sat up and looked at you, "What wrong, you know you can tell me anything?". " It's not anything bad but I kinda umm," you paused not knowing whether Scarlett would say yes or no to what you were gonna ask her. "Sweetheart you can tell me anything, go ahead" she said, taking you into her lap. " I wanna start acting like you," you said looking up at her with puppy dog eyes. "Oh of course you can start acting honey, we can start looking for auditions today if you'd like," she said, really relieved that there was nothing wrong. "yes, yes ,yes thank you mommy!" you started jumping around. "Ok calm down calm down" she said laughing at you. She picked you up and walked downstairs with you still in her arms. Then she brought you to the kitchen and sat you on the counter. "So Angel, what do you want for breakfast?" Scarlett said whilst looking through the fridge."Umm waffles?" You said waiting for Scarlett's approval. "Waffles it is then" she walked over to you and kissed the top of your head. You stayed sitting on the counter chatting to Scarlett as she made breakfast. "Ok Angel breakfast is ready!" Scarlett placed the 2 plates of waffles on the table and you both started eating. After you had both finished eating breakfast Scarlett started cleaning the kitchen. "Mommy can we look at auditions now, please?" you said giving Scarlett puppy dog eyes again. "Yes honey when I'm done cleaning the kitchen I'll get you dressed and we can look at auditions together" Your eyes lit up with excitement. "Can I get dressed by myself today?" you asked as it would get you looking at auditions faster. "Yeah if you want to honey" Scarlett said and with that you sprinted upstairs to get dressed. You picked out black cycling shorts and a colourful tie-dye t-shirt. Just as you had finished getting dressed Scarlett knocked on the door "Y/N honey can I come in?" You quickly put away your pj's before replying "Yes mama". She came in and picked you up, " so are you ready to look for auditions?" she said excitedly. "Yes!!!" you said loudly then squealed in excitement.

10:30 am

You and your mom have been looking at auditions you might like and have applied for a few. "There we go so we have applied for a few then if you get called back you have to go and audition," after she said this you immediately hugged her. "Thank you!" you said into her chest. "No problem " she kissed your head. Then you decided to have a movie day so you snuggled up into Scarlett's side and began watching movies.

A few days later

You and Scarlett are sitting in the kitchen eating lunch when she gets a phone call. She picks up her phone "Hello?" "Hi Ms. Johansson this is Sydney, I'm calling to inform you that Y/N Johansson has been arranged to audition for us on Wednesday (in two days)," "Oh my gosh that's amazing thank you, we'll be there" "Goodbye" "Bye". Scarlett smiles going back to finish her lunch beside Y/N. "Who was that?" Y/N asked whilst finishing her sandwich. "Well a lady rang me to tell you that you got an audition in two days" Scarlett's smile widened when she saw your face light up. "REALLY!" you screamed with glee. "REALLY!" Scarlett replied with the same amount of energy. You ran into her arms and screamed with excitement then she picked you up and said "WHO WANTS ICE-CREAM?!" "MEEEEEEEE!". You both left and got Ice-Cream to celebrate.

Wednesday

Scarlett walks into your room to wake you up. "Y/N sweetheart you have to wake up" she said whilst rubbing your back. You groaned then turned to face your mother. "Whyyyy it's like 3am" you rolled back over. "Well darling it's actually 7 am but if you don't want to get up I can always cancel your audition" Scarlett turned to the door slowly walking, smirking to herself. "Wait, wait I'm up I'm up!" you immediately jumped up out of bed and ran over to Scarlett. "Good now let's get you dressed" she smiled as you hugged her waist. Scarlett picked out your clothes as today was a big day for both you and her, she picked out an orange tank top with frills on the sleeves, black and white striped trousers and black shoes. Once you were dressed she did your hair into two ponytails. Then you both went downstairs to eat breakfast. "What do you want for breakfast?" Scarlett asked her very excited daughter. "Pancakes and nutella please" you said eagerly. "Ok coming right up" Scarlett replied with a wholesome smile. A while later breakfast was ready and you and Scarlett sat down to eat. The minute you were finished Scarlett put the dishes in the sink, washed your face and got into the car with you. The audition place was about 2 hours away so you ended up falling asleep.

When you arrived Scarlett quickly parked the car and opened your door to wake you up. "Y/N we're here!" she said, trying to wake you up. When you heard this you were immediately awake and alert. Scarlett lifted you out of the car and closed the door. You both started to walk to the place where you were auditioning when paparazzi showed up. They started to take pictures which scared you a little but after all these years you've gotten used to it. When you reached the place where you were going to audition, Scarlett walked to the front desk and started talking, about 10 minutes later you were led to the waiting room, where you were given lines to rehearse and also some juice. You practised your lines with Scarlett for a while until you heard "Y/N JOHANSSON!"
