After two days
"Is he coming or not?"Jaya aunt asked."No"she said and cried."Its okay ,don't worry.Let us proceed because you cannot delay it"Jaya aunt said and hugged her."How is it possible without him ? It is an beautiful ceremony for every husband and wife.But ,my husband isn't here"she said and weeped."Dont cry.I will try convincing him"Jaya aunt said and kissed her in the head."Dont you have sense ? Baby Shower Function(Seemandham in Telugu)
Pallavi wore a beautiful yellow kanchipuram silk saree."You look so pretty"her mother said and cried.She wore a beautiful set of gold necklace and earrings.Suddenly someone knocked the door."Maa go and open"Pallavi said.It was Raghav.She cried looking at him.He became very emotional."Go and talk to her"her mother said and left them alone in the room.Raghav hugged her and kissed."You are glowing and beautiful!!"he said and slowly kissed her on the eyelids."How did you come here ?"she asked."I fought with him and came for you"he said.She kissed him on the nose and hugged him."You really managed it well.I am proud of you"he said."I worked in my hospital till last month and now only i have asked for maternity leave"she said.He touched her baby bump and said "I am really sorry for not being there with you on those nine months"."Its okay ,stop crying"Pallavi said."Sit ,i will help you"he said.Raghav put anklets around her ankle.She cupped his face."Now ,put this waist chain across my stomach"she said.He slowly put that and helped her.Then ,he kissed her on the forehead."Come ,let's go"she said and they performed the ceremony.Raghav wore a blue shirt and white veshti.They (Women) put the bangles on her hand and applied applied turmeric on her face.Hritik sat on his father lap and was busy focusing his mother.Later ,the function got over and they went home.Raghav sat near her and touched the baby bump.He held it with his hands and spoke to the baby."My little sweetheart ,how are you ? Mom and dad are eagerly waiting to see you.I am so sorry ,i was not able to be with you for the past eight months as your dad is a Military officer.I didn't see your movements or felt your kick in the stomach.You have got a great mom ,she is so strong and bold.Even your brother can't wait to see you.We all love you so much ,come soon!!"Raghav said.Pallavi held his face and kissed him."I am so thankful to have you as my husband"she said and he smiled at her."How was your round ligament pains ? Does it hurt ? Did you suffer ?"he asked."Yes ,i had pains but it's common during this time.But Jaya aunt took great care of me.She is a second mother to me"she said.Then ,Hritik joins them.He spoke to the baby and played with him/her.
The next day ,around 9 AM ,Pallavi started to get her strong labor pains."Its paining so much in the back"Pallavi said and held his shirt."Relax"he said and helped her."Its a contraction pain"Jaya aunt said.They took her to the hospital and admitted her.After a few hours later ,a girl baby was born."Welcome to the world princess"Pallavi said and kissed her.Raghav looked at her and cried."My Angel is born today"he said and carried her in his arms.Hritik touched her face and held her fingers."Let us name her as Kriti"Raghav said and kissed her."Hritik and Kriti.They sound similar!!"Pallavi said."Yes ,indeed!"he said.
