Chapter 7: The Date

6:30 am
Fundy's POV

I woke up at 6:30 Am. I dressed up in a nice suit with a fox tie. It's a pretty good outfit, I think. I went downstairs and made some cereal. I went back upstairs and grabbed the keys and the wallet and patted my cat and went into my car. I checked the time.

9:30 am

I grabbed my phone and called 5up.
" hello? "
" 5up here speaking, what's up Fundy? "
" wow, you talk like those roboscammers "
" for real? No I don't. "
" haha, yes you do. "
" no I d- "
" shhh, are you ready for the date? "
" born rea- ahem, yes. "
" alright, I'll pick you up in 5 minutes "
" alright. See ya.
" ya "

I drove to 5up house and picked him up.
We joked around and having laughs like it was the best time.
This date was gonna be a surprise.
I grabbed a blindfold and tied it around 5up eyes.
" alright, can you see? "
" no tf I can't, Fundy are you high? "
I laughed. " no. "
I grabbed his hand and dragged him to the date spot. I saw a lil blush on his face.

I ran with 5up hands in mines, to the date place.
Place with apple trees and a bench with a blanket over it and food.
I told 5up to stay as I took off his blindfold.
He gasped and hugged me tight. I blushed a lot.
" Wow, this is amazing Fundy. "
He said with a gentle smile facing towards me. " it was no biggie. " I said as I turned red.
We ate and joked around like the time of our lives. After finishing eating we played a few games like I spied or guess what I'm thinking. It was fun and then the sun set down. I told 5up I would drop him off but he declined and told me he would get a Uber.
" Hey 5up? "
" Yeah Fundy? "
I took a deep breath
" I, like you. "
" no no, I love you "
I said with almost tears forming and face turning red
5up looked at me and hugged me.
" you don't know how long I waited for you to say that " he said with a smile on his face and tears falling down.
" really? "
" yep! "
I wiped off his tears and kissed him on the cheek. " I'll call you later 5up ! " " alright! "
I watched him as he got into the Uber and drove away.
I smiled and headed back to my car and drove home.

little did Fundy know.
His poor sweet 5up.
will probably meet his doom :)

5up POV!

I was in the backseat while the person was driving. He made many wrong turns. I'm suspicious. He drove into the woods. I quickly grabbed out my phone until he stopped me and glared at me.
" you better not do it. "
" try calling the cops, I dare you. "
He pulled out a gun and pointed it to my head.
" hey! Hey! We can talk about this? "
" no we can't, you made a wrong decision and you can't back down now. "
I stared at him and he stared back.
I did some epic moves and got his gun and started running while tears were falling down my cold and red cheeks.
I grabbed my phone and texted Fundy

Oh shit. I quickly hid behind the tree and dialed 911. No answer. No bars. No WiFi. I'm done for.
I wasn't even able to say goodbye.
Fundy is gonna be broken. I quickly ran again  and found a exit. While running I accidentally dropped my phone. I didn't have time to pick it up. I need to live.
I ran as fast as I could and i found a neighborhood. I quickly tried to think of Fundy's address and tried to find it. I didn't know the street but I need to stay as far away from that man. I quickly found a crowd and hid there. God damn it. Why am I so unlucky?
It was good until this shit happened.
As a crowd of people start to deform. I tried to find the nearest cafe. I found Cub foods and I went inside. I asked the people what street I'm in and thankfully, it was close to Fundy's Street. Just a few miles.. I ran all the way to Fundy's house and knocked on the door.
A little kid opened the door.
They had white hair and a fox tail and ears.
They had blue eyes and was in pjs.
" hello! "
" hello bud, do you know who lives here? "
" me and my dad doe- "
" Yogurt, what did I say about opening doors to strang- "
Fundy looked at me
I was beaten up and had dirt and leaves over me.
He grabbed my hand and handed me towels and extra clothes and put me in the bathroom. " we can talk about it later. " he said in such a sweet voice, I'm so glad I found this man.
I quickly showed and put on the extra clothing. It was big but it was okay.
I walked out and I saw Fundy in a apron cooking dinner while this kid was staring at it.
" Hey funds? "
" yeah? "
" who's this kid? "
" they're my little kiddo! "
" I adopted them after they had no shelter. "
I smiled in aww, this man is the sweetest shit ever.
Dinner was ready and it was Mac and cheese with the chicken strips.
" enjoy! "
Fundy wasn't gonna eat since he ate already.
After eating I got along with the little kiddo. They went to sleep after and I had the talk with Fundy.
" what even happened? "
" why were you covered in scars? "
" welltherewasthismanandhehadagunandhewasgonnakillmebutiranallthewayhere "
" oh, you can sleep on my bed tonight, I'll sleep on the couch. "
" no no, I'll sleep on the couch "
" no I will. "
" no I will Fundy'."
" how about we both sleep on the bed. "
" how? "
" my bed is king sized "
" oh. "
Fundy dragged me to his bed and we basically cuddled.
After waking up at 3 am when Fundy was having those nightmares again
I hugged him and calmed him down and we both fell asleep.

The man was following him along.
