"It's so hot out here! When is break?" I yelled

"It's only 10am it's only going to get hotter Kennedy!" Jenn said

"Yea, yea it's only gonna get hotter Kennedy!" I said copying Jenn.

(Wait let me fill you in. I'm Kennedy my best friends are Jenn Andrea and Mikayla. We are all life guards at long beach in California. We hangout with other people like the youtubers Connor Franta, Jc caylen and the Dolan twins Ethan and Grayson. Jenn and I live together and Andrea and mikayla live together. That's all you get to know so it's not a spoiler. Hope you enjoy.)

We sat on our post for the next hour. Nothing interesting happened. The only interesting thing that happened was that a kid lost his tube because the current. Our break is at twelve but it was only 11am. I decide to take a dip in the dark blue salt water.

We are suppose to transition between someone being in the water making sure everyone is safe. It was my turn. I walked down the ladder took my tank top and shorts off. Put my sunglasses and whistle down and grabbed the lifesaver.

I started toward the water when Jenn shouted "don't get bit by a shark Kennedy!"

I laughed and kept walking through the water. I went pretty far out into the ocean. Where the big waves are. I had to make sure no one passed that part.

Usually around this time Ethan and Connor would come down by us while Jc and Grayson went down my mikayla and Andrea. This is our group of friends. (We're not that social)

I am swimming back and fourth in the warm calm water. The only thing I did was tell people to go closer to the shore a little.

"Aye Kenny!" Ethan shouts swimming toward me.

"What did I say about calling me that?" I asked annoyed

"You said that's a boy name and that I can't call you that or ken." Ethan said sarcastically

"Yes that's right. Wait where's Connor?" I asked confused

"He said he will come later he had business or something like that. I wasn't paying attention to what he was saying." Ethan said not caring.

"Okay whatever" I said kinda worried

To get off topic Ethan decide to splash me.
"STOP ETHAN!"I shouted
He kept splashing me. I had my arms in front of my face. But Jenn decided to blow her whistle and tell Ethan to stop and made a big scene.

"Thanks Jenn!" I shouted sarcastically

"No problem Kennedy!" Jenn shouted back.

Ethan and I started to jump the big waves. We would go up and down. We would see the shore when we're up and see the water when down.

That is my favorite part of the ocean. The waves.

Finally Connor came. Since his "business" took so long we only had 13 minutes till break.
(Break is when everyone met up for lunch at the taco truck)

"Aye Kenny how's work?" Connor said hugging me

"I don't like when you call me that" I said annoyed

"I know you hate it but that's what I call you unless you want me to call you Mrs.dolan?" Connor said grinning at me.

"Uh...this is awkward." Ethan mumbled

"Connor shut the hell up! Don't call me that. Fine you can call me ken what ever just don't ever call me Mrs.dolan!" I said pissed at Connor
