Daniela POV:
"Girl I'm telling you; I'm officially done with Luke this time." I told Ash for the millionth time this year. Luke was my former boyfriend" you could say. Nowadays you don't know when you're in a relationship. Luke was one of those guys who want you to be there's but without anything holding y'all down. AKA a title in this case. "Whatever you say Dani. I won't believe it till I see it." I don't blame her for thinking that way. Honestly, I'm surprised she has stuck by my side throughout all this bullshit for so long.
"Dani look out!" Ash yelled at me since I was crossing the street on campus not paying attention. "Oh shit!" I yelled more to myself than towards the stranger who almost ran me over with his motorcycle. "I'm gonna need you to pay better attention when crossing the street." He said. "And I'm gonna need you to watch who you're about to run over." I snapped. "Look, you're the one not paying attention at in coming vehicles. I made my stop, and the rest was up to you." I hate it when others are right. I was about to keep on arguing when Ash came up behind me and excused us from this stranger. "Girl are you crazy! Why are you trying to argue with him!" She whispered yelled. I was annoyed at the fact that I couldn't keep arguing with this stranger to care who he was but yet I asked, "Who is he?". "That my feisty friend is Jesse Cabrera De Angel. He is the son of Marcus Cabrera De Angel, the owner of one of the most important law firms in the state." It took me a second to realize how important he was. His dad is always defending immigrant workers. To my parents Mr. Marcus was a hero. "I don't care who he is! He still needs keep a look out for those of us walking across the street." When I turn around to see if he's still there, he is not.

"I honestly don't want to go to this party." Ash was too busy looking at herself in the mirror to even notice me. She had on a black one piece with a brown skirt and black heels. I gotta say my bestie looks pretty damn hot. "I don't care, you're going and that's the end of it." It's not that I don't like to party, I just hate the whole having to get ready part. I love being in sweats and tank crop tops and my hair in a crazy bun. But I knew better than to argue with this crazy girl. She would be capable of dragging me to the party if I didn't walk there myself. So, I went to the restroom to shower. I blow dried my hair and left it in its natural waves. I decided to go with jean shorts and a white long-sleeved crop to that laces up in the middle. It's one of my comfier yet cute outfits. I finalized it with a natural look on makeup and low top airforces. I'm pretty proud of my outfit. We left my house and took my car to the party. Knowing Ash she'll probably get drunk so I'm on DD.
When I pulled up to the party everyone already seemed to either be drunk or on their road to being drunk. "Look Ash, we're sticking together. No shenanigans on going off on your own. And absolutely no leaving with anyone that isn't me. Understood?" "Blah, blah, blah, yes mom." It's not that I don't want her to have fun, I'm just looking out for her. We walked into the house and the music was blaring. There were girls dancing on tables, bottles, and cups everywhere. And let's not forget the hint of weed in the air. I was walking through the crowed until I bumped into someone's back, "Sorry, my bad." The tall guy turns around and to my surprise its Luke. "Luke? What are you doing here?" "Well, I was invited to a party same as you." My heart was beating so fast, and I literally froze there. I wanted to punch this kid in the face and make out with him, and cry all in one. "You ok?" I just stood there; words wouldn't come out. "She's fine, maybe you should step aside and let her enjoy herself." And just like that I was being escorted to the backyard. Once we were outside the warm breeze felt wonderful against my skin. It wasn't cold at all, but it still gave me goose bumps. My heart was finally relaxing. Once I composed myself, I started looking for Ash and she was nowhere to be found. "Bitch." I murmured under my breath. "That's not nice to say about a friend you know." Even though I've only met him once, I could already recognize the sarcasm in the voice. "Look Jesse, I don't have time to deal with you right now. I got to go find Ash before she gets herself into trouble." "I believe she already has." Jesse pointed at the topless Blonde on top of the diving board. How that girl managed to get drunk so easily is beyond me, but I had to go after her. That's my job as the "mom" in this friendship. "Ashley Beverly Green, get your ass off that diving board!" I was running towards her at this point. She smiled at me and jumped in. I dove in after her not thinking about the fact that I'm not wearing a bra underneath my white shirt.
