Ruby's pov:
As we walked down the hall, everyone turned to look at us. Before this year, we were just normal kids, well, as normal as we could be, but now we have our powers, and suddenly that changes everything.
As we walked, I couldn't stop looking at the blond boy named jack.
Of course, the hottest boy in this whole school had to be from my realms oldest rival. I also couldn't help noticing leaf, the brown haired kid, couldn't stop looking at Ariana. I mean, I didn't blame him, she was pretty.
Soon, the four of us walked up to small classroom.
Inside, there was a short teacher with gray hair and gray eyes. He looked at least 55, with a grumpy look on his face.
"Hello," leaf said as we walked into the classroom.
"Sit down in one of the desk's and be quiet untill I get back!" The teacher responded in a rather rude way, and hurried out of the class.
Inside the class there were gray walls, with nothing on them. There were four large science tables with stools, and one big desk at the front.
It was honestly the most depressing classroom ide ever seen.Leaf's POV:
Who knew so much could go so wrong in just ten minutes.
A couple minutes had passed since me and the other three kids had walked into the classroom, and we had all taken out seats.
I looked around at the depressing class, then at jack.
Jack looked back at me, and we made eye contact for a long time.
Jack and I had been friends for years. When we first came to this school when we were five, nobody wanted to be my friend. No one would even talk to me, and I was picked on. One day though, jack came over to me and introduced himself. He started telling me all about how much he loved my glasses, which were a light green. Immediately after we became best friends."The the hell is up with you two?"
I looked away from jack to see Ruby staring straight at me, her eyebrows creased.
"Nothing, I was just-" but I got cut off by the teacher tossing a large pile of paper onto his desk and started to write on the white board.
"Get out a piece of paper and start writing what I write." The teacher grumbled as he wrote on the board.
"This is going to be a shity year" grumbled Ruby, leaning back in her chair.
"Don't swear in my classroom!" Their teacher snapped at her.
He turned around to face the board again and tried to write, but no ink was coming out of the marker.
"Damn marker, won't f*ckimg write!"
The man turned and grabbed another marker and started writing a bunch of math equations way to quickly.
After a minute he turned around and faced the class."My name is Mr. Breeze, I will not be repeating this again, and the rules are simple, so either follow them or deal with me, understand."
"Yeah we get it, what are these rules." Jack said, rolling his eyes.
He then turned to me and whispered, "The rules which I will not follow." He smirked, and I sighed, knowing this wasn't going to end well."The rules are: no smoking, swearing, talking back, slacking off, using your powers to cause problems, speaking over me and telling anyone, especially the school board or your family's what I teach you, understand?" He turned to face Jack, "and if there are any problems, there will be consequences."
