"Whats the point in celebrating with other kingdoms?" I sighed, me and Nick were getting ready for "The Christmas Celebration" as everyone calls it. It was going to last 5 days, the second last day being Christmas.
Nick was complaining to me about it as he was going to go on a date with some pretty girl, but now that there was going to be party he had to cancel his plans.
I personally didn't mind the party, it was the fact that we would have to communicate with the rest of the princes and princesses. From what I know, everyone that's royalty can be a bitch at times. That doesn't include me.
Well, not exactly, I won't flatter myself that much. But I do put up quite a good act compare to the others. A lot of people say Im one of the nicest Princes, which makes me quite popular.
My goal for tonight is to make sure everyone doesn't end up arguing. I don't really care if they like each other or not, but this celebration is going to be at my kingdom. Which makes me responsible for the guests, well the ones my age that is. Nick is going to help me with that, that is if he isn't gonna be the one that ends up causing havoc.
Nick is my best friend, the only one from the other kingdoms I talk to. He was a lot more social than me, he knew a couple of the other princes and princesses that were going to be at the party. Along with knowing some of the guards.
We weren't really alike, although I wouldn't call us opposites. I feel like we are most alike when we are together, but if not than you would never see why we would be friends.
I didn't really have a reason of why I didn't know many people, except for not going outside often. The reason for that is because of my father, so its not really my fault. I guess he's just trying to look out for me, or something that I don't know about is going on.
"Im thinking the same thing, just not for the same reason." I sat up from my bed, breathlessly answering to him. Nick was trying fixing his tie. "Took you long enough to answer, sometimes I wish you could act like a perfect little prince to me." I laughed, then walked over behind him.
"Huh what are you doing? Theres a mirror in front of me so don't try scaring me freak." I rolled my eyes, I put my hands on his shoulders to turn him around. Once he was facing me I went to fix his tie.
"I can't believe you don't know how to fix a tie, stupid." I grinned. "Bla bla bla, at least I know how to get a date." I finished fixing his tie and I jumped down onto the bed. "SO mature Nick, you might know how to get a date but you haven't had a girlfriend since the 8th grade." I sassily replied. "You know thats not true!" He huffed. It was like talking to a 12 year old.
"Ok ok whatever you say, what should I wear?" Nicks face lit up in the question. "HERE!" He reached over to my desk chair which had been turned the other way and pulled out some clothes. He threw them at me with a giggle. It was a white collared shirt, black leather pants and a long brown coat. It looked brand new.
"Since you bought me clothes for the party, I decided to get you some too." I blushed, it wasn't often he would do sweet things. Although if he is going to do something nice, its most likely going to be for me.
I went to my dressing room with a smile, taking off my shirt on the way so that I could get dressed quicker. I put on the clothes Nick bought for me and headed out to show him. "Well Im glad you did since now Im in a good mood." He crosses his arms, "you give such late responses its actually funny." I giggled at the observation as we both headed downstairs. The party was going to start soon..
