Niki was running around delivering the papers on this warm autumn day. She had written a "secret lover letter" for Brendan. They were such close friends and Niki did not think he liked her so she wanted to keep it secret. She had taken her jacket off and kept trying to keep it on but kept falling off. After she had ran to the last house she stated to walk to the training area of their town. There she found Brendan. A tall statured half demon. He purple horns standing out in the browns and yellows of the field.
"Niki your back!" Brendan yelled giving her a hug.
Niki was happy to see him to and gave him the letter.
"This is for you if has no name on it though" Niki said trying to keep calm and not give it away.
Brendan's face was confused and wanted to know what it read but he saved it for later after training.
"Anyways can you help me with this?" Brendan said pointing at a dummy.
Niki rolled her eyes and picked up a sword. She started to explain what to do but Brendan started to look at Niki almost lovingly. Niki had not noticed and was continuing. Brendan had always had feels for Niki. She was perfect. Her fox ears and tail whipped in the breeze and her amber eyes glistened in the sunlight.
"And that's how you do a spiral attack- HEY WERE YOU EVEN LISTENING?" Niki yelled
Brendan clocked what just happened in.
"YES I WAS!" Brendan quickly said even though he was not paying attention. At least not to what she was saying.
Niki rolled her eyes again as Brendan face turned a light shade of pink.
"He lets go to the forest we would go to the creek!" Niki said her ear pricked up.
Brendan nodded in agreement. So they ran to the creek but the smell of blood was coming close to them.
