"So you're saying Exos were robots that had a persons' consciousness transplanted into them?"

"Basically. There is a whole lot more to the Exos than 'human robots,' but I will teach you about them later. For now, we must educate you on all of the enemies you might face."

Izuku's ghost had been explaining the history of, well, everything. Izuku was going to be diving back into a universe that had been long since forgotten. Getting him up to date on all of the historical events was a must.

Izuku nodded in acceptance, ignoring the weird looks he was getting from all of the passersby. He knew that it looked like he was talking to himself from the outside and not a sentient robot inside his head.

He was taking the long way home to learn more about his ghost and the time he came from. He was also dreading the conversation he had to have with his mother. It was time he stopped hiding things from her and come clean. He knew the talk would be difficult, but it was needed.

"There are a couple of interstellar races that Guardians of the past have fought repeatedly against. Namely the Fallen, Vex, Cabal, and the Hive." The ghost said, saying the word Hive with particular distaste.

"First, we will talk about the Fallen. In terms of history, they are pretty simple. The Fallen are actually an interstellar race known as the Eliksni who, much like the humans, were touched by the Traveler. The Traveler brought them their own golden age, but it left them to seek more worlds to improve, as it had in the past. The Eliksni didn't take the departure of the Traveler very well. Their society crumbled, and their civilization collapsed.  The survivors splintered and started to create different 'houses.' These houses became embroiled in civil war for a time before they all managed to come to a tense peace. The Eliksni set out on a journey to find the Traveler and reclaim their greatness. Though this never happened. The Eliksni had turned into scavengers and pirates, looting anything that could be of value from ships and basically becoming the interstellar Black-Beards. When they arrived in the sol system, the houses splintered again, and the 'Fallen,' as they were now being called, were left without enough manpower to ever hope of reclaiming the Traveler. The Fallen really didn't have any other goals, just haphazard attempts to re-take the Traveler. They otherwise just continued to be, well, pirates. The fact that they were splintered really left them too weak to be any real threat to humanity." Izuku's ghost finished, giving him some time to process the information.

Izuku frowned at the information. While he felt sad for the Eliksni, who hadn't deserved the cards they were dealt, he also knew they shouldn't have turned to violence to solve their problems. It was good to hear they weren't a major issue in the past, but whether they had become an issue now was what concerned him.

Izuku was cut out of his thoughts by his ghost's voice. "Next up is the Vex. The Vex have one goal; to remake all of reality in their image. What exactly that image looks like is unknown. Some say that the Vex desires a universe that follows a set 'pattern,' a universe that can be completely controlled and predicted. Others say the Vex want to know everything in the universe and become a part of it. Their true intentions are unknown." It paused, the digital glitching in its voice acting up.

"What is known is that the Vex are completely devoted to their mission and will destroy any perceived threat with brutal efficiency. The history of the Vex is kinda fuzzy, but it is believed that the Vex were created at the dawn of the universe. When the Light and Darkness came into existence, the backlash of the cosmic forces created the Vex. The Vex, in their biological form, are actually an aquatic microorganism called Radiolaria. Radiolaria are found in a milky white substance older guardians referred to as Vex Milk." The ghost said, ignoring how Izuku slapped a hand over his mouth to keep in his chuckles.
