Chapter One: Job's not so bad, is it?

A month or so had passed, Adrien and I entered school with our hands interlocked. We walked up the dreaded stairs as we made our way towards our class. I sat down next to Alya and Adrien made his way to sit with Nino.

"Girl, you will not believe what Nino gave me for my birthday!!" The brunette exclaimed, I lightly giggled, looking towards her for her to continue. "He got me this shiny necklace!! It is so gorgeous, isn't it?"

"Oh my god, Alya. That is so-"

Just as I was close to finishing my thought, an acumatized villian crashed through the window, leaving glass scattered on the floor. "I- uhm, I need to go to the bathroom!"

"Right now, In the mid-" I ran out of the classroom. I headed into a nearby empty classroom, transforming. I snuck onto the roof and used my powers to shoot myself through the classroom window, leaving me facing the gooey monster.

"Did you bring yourself out of the oven to early?" Just then, Chat came by my side and held his staff out.

"Not too bad, M'lady." The monster started chanting something about "finding the one he loves" I grabbed my yoyo, wrapping it around the monster, although it broke. It started chasing me through the hallway as I kept thinking about what I could do. I escaped out the huge skylight, I ran across the little roofing left and ran back into the classroom where only one student remained, Mylene.

"Hey, you really need to get out of here." I calmly approached her, sitting beside her.

"I- I can't... That's — Ivan. We got into a fight earlier, I caused all this!" I gave her a reassuring grin, sticking my hand out, pulling her to her feet.

"You didn't cause any of this, okay? Now, why don't you help me get your boyfriend back?" She slightly grinned at me back, she followed me in a extremely scared position, as she played with her hoodie strings. "IF YOU WANT HER COME AND GET HER!" The gooey monster came running towards us, Chat wasn't far behind as he followed the plan, he grabbed his staff mid-air hitting the target right in it's back. "Nice one, CN." As the monster fell down, I broke the necklace around it's neck, the akuma flying out, as I captured it. Mylene and Ivan began to hug with a bunch of 'I'm so sorry'. Chat smiled with his arm around my shoulders, I leaned in with my head resting on his shoulder as we watched the couple reunite.

"This has to be my favorite part of the job."

"Me too."

So hi there, I'm Y/n and a lot has happened in the last two months. Here's a little re-cap of the previous book and some non-mentioned surprises!
It all started out as two best friends, who totally liked each other, and never had the guts to tell each other. Adrien, one of the most known Models in Paris, needed a fake girlfriend for publicity reasons. His father was behind this decision of course, as always. I quickly accepted his offer, when he prompted it while it rained at our childhood lake. As it led to us fake dating, the feelings between both of us were mutual. After many fake dates, publicity stunts, red carpets, interviews, and other planned events. We ended up realizing we were both the in-famous superhero's of Paris. Leading to the two of us making it official. The stories told in this book are going to be about everything in between, our relationship, superhero sightings, friendships, possible love triangles, deep secrets revealed, and way more normal teen drama. As this is just a introduction chapter, I've kept it short, although chapters will be 1,000+ words and kept exciting and intriguing. Thank you for all of the love on the first book, everyone!
