Darren Lannister is a very unusual Lord. Known as the Lionheart, Darren is a very intelligent man. He's known for his mercy which his father thinks is a weakness. But he's equally known to be ruthless when his mercy is rejected. A good example of this is during the Ironborn rebellion, he led the retaliation. He offered the Ironborn raiders at Lannisport their lives if the fled. They didn't. He had them all beheaded and buried. Thanks to his foresight, the Lannister Fleet didn't burn.
Born in 277 AC to Tywin Lannister and his second wife who died in the birthing bed, Damien was an exceptionally gifted child. When Damien was 9 namedays old, he had the idea to reopen the mines under Castamere. The miners discovered vast amounts of iron, silver, and gold, a literal mountain's worth. When Tywin learned of this discovery, he was very proud. Finally, a member of his family wasn't a disappointment.
Married to Alysanne Lefford, Damien has one son, Tytos. A very happy child of three years. In the year 298 AC, Darren would become Lord Lannister upon his father's death.
