Going Mute

After i found out jake was my tutor i stormed out of the classroom and went home. I turned on the television to pretty little liars when a alert went on the tv. I froze. Stephen Lakerson has escaped prison. Also known as my dad. I was so shocked i couldn't even move. my dad always told me he would escape and i better shut my damn mouth or else when he found me he would kill my mom. So i had no choice but to become mute.
Once my mom found out she pulled me in a huge hug, while i just cried.
I have not been to school for 3 weeks because i was to scared, when finally my mom told me i had to go to school.
When i woke up i threw on a grey long sleeve top and black shorts with black boots. i did a smoky eye and clear shiny lip gloss and left.
When i entered the school everyone started whispering saying things like "she looks hot .... i wonder where she has been...... "
I was still not talking and didn't intend to. my mom wrote me a note to all my teachers saying that I wasn't talking and don't force me to. I calmly walked to my locker only to see Jake right behind me. Jake looked really concerned and said to me " where the hell have you been!?!". i didn't respond. He was ranting on and on before he stopped and looked at me "why aren't you speaking?"
Then the bell rang and i ran off to the bathroom hearing heavy footsteps behind me. i ran into a stall and locked it. thats when i broke down screaming and crying scared that my dad would find me. i quickly went into my backpack and brought out a razor making lines across my arms. Everything was beginning to look like a blur when i heard the door being kicked down and multiple gasps. i could barley make it out but i saw Jake and 2 of his friends. I felt myself being picked up and pressed against a warm hard body then slowly drifting to sleep..
