Yeonbin: My dreams came true

Yeonjun looked at Soobin with stars twinkling in his eyes as he pulled him along with him towards the carousel in the carnival. His face went soft as he looked at their intertwined hands and the memory that took place earlier in the month.

Yeonjun was very nervous as he waited for Soobin near the playground in their college. He finally got enough guts to propose to Soobin. He kept on twiddling his thumbs as he felt a person loom over him. He looked up to see the boy he fell in love with years ago. The one who considers them as close friends, the one he wants to call his lover. The one to who he gave his heart. The one with who he wants to spend his forever.

Soobin asked, "why did you call me here" Yeonjun giggled as he looked at Soobin's face. Yeonjun could visibly see that Soobin stuffed a piece of bread before he came to see him, with the evidence being the bread crumbs near his mouth and the small portion of cream smeared across the bottom of his lip. He visibly relaxed as he saw the clumsiness of the boy. He looked at the boy he loved so dearly and held close to his heart with his eyes turning warm and a smile gracing his sharp features. He pulled a tissue out of the pocket pack that he started to carry around after he found out Soobin's eating habits and cleaned his face. He looked at him with his sweet bunny smile after Yeonjun finished cleaning his lips and unintentionally tried to remove the vermilion of his lips along with the crumbs and cream on his face. Soobin then sat down on the bench that Yeonjun previously sat and repeated the question he asked, "what did you call me here for?"

Yeonjun looked away from Soobin and mumbled, "I just wanted to ask you something...." Soobin looked at Yeonjun with his adorable face contorted with confusion and said, "what? I can't hear you?" Yeonjun looked down at the ground while fiddling his thumbs and said, "I like you a lot. Would you like to be mine?" Yeonjun then paused and looked up to see Soobin's reaction. He saw Soobin looking up at him with his eyes wide and a puzzled expression on his face, "o-ofcourse by agreeing to this I'll be yours too, I lo-like you so much that I do not want to let go of you when I knew I had a chance to tell you how I feel... I'm just making it a mess, aren't I? I'll stop now..." he felt dejected and leaned back and let his mind spiral into the thoughts about how his life could be if Soobin both rejected him and left him as a friend.

Yeonjun did not notice his eyes watering as he got lost in his thoughts.

Yeonjun looked up when a hand that could cup his face rested on his cheek, which felt so warm, so familiar and softly rubbed his cheeks, trying to wipe away the tears flowing down on his cheeks. Yeonjun leaned into the comfort of Soobin's hands and closed his eyes. If it weren't for Soobin talking, Yeonjun might've fallen asleep with the warmth provided by Soobin's presence and the warmth provided by his body.

Soobin smiled and said, "Hey, I lo- like you too, so I don't mind giving us a try."

Yeonjun blinked in shock while his brain was reeling to process what happened. He then snapped from his stupor and hugged Soobin. Soobin hugged Yeonjun back with his heart blooming with warmth as he felt Yeonjun fit right into his arms. Soobin prayed to whoever was above to not let Yeonjun hear how fast his heart rate was.

Soobin looked at Yeonjun holding Beomgyu in a chokehold at the double date they went with Taehyun, Beomgyu and Huening Kai. Anyone looking at the sight would call Soobin smitten to death as he could not tear himself apart from the scene with his eyes sparkling while looking at that sight of Yeonjun choking a person to death. Anyone would tell you that Yeonjun was the only one who could capture the heart of the giant bunny who could turn from a soft bread loving boy to a boy who has shown off the bread on his stomach that he someone gained even though the only exercise that he did till this day was breathing.

A/N: what sort of abomination did i write while i was bored in math class??? please, i need to concentrate more but the temptation was too hard to resist, and since this is my first actual work, i'd like the comments uwuwu
