I look and see the dude who I saw before heading home to my game Davis

D: i- how did you get into the house
M: he is one of my friends from high school and he is the coach of the basketball team for heaven hills
D: bruh I told you that I'm good and you don't need to get in the way of my life I'm happy where I am

D: and I don't wanna be in a school that I get made fun of cause I'm not as rich as them
M: Derek please it's a Better school and more safe
D: ight so you agreeing wit him now. What if I'm all the way over there and sum happened to you and Cohen
M: boy I'm the parent I decide what right for you and what's not I'm telling you that this school is not what you think at all I just want you to go to another school and be more safe I will wanna have sum happed to me before both of my boys. D: so when will I be going there
Da: school starts in 1 week so be ready

He leaves then Derek goes to his room and sits on his bed thinking of what the decision he just made. He grabbed his phone and called ballo

I just go on my phone and go through Insta and see a really pretty and nice looking girl she has good style and everything but I just shut off my phone then went into the shower. After that I threw on my black shorts with a white under shirt got in bed and went to sleep

a week later

Welp today is the day I'll have to go to heaven hills I got up, took a shower, and ate breakfast. As I was going to my room to grab my bag I decided to go hug my mom and Lil bro first

D: ight I have to go to school

D: ight see y'all later a- and call me if sum happens
C&M: ok
D: alright bye I'll be back tonight

I close the door and start my walking heaven hills is 30 Minutes away so I guess I'll just take the bus

At the school
I finally made it to the school i can't believe it took me 3 buses to get here but I guess we are here

I walked into the school and saw some people staring and saw really skinny looking girls and expensive clothes

I started walking and then I bumped to Davis

Da: well here is your schedule and if you get lost just ask someone oh and also you are gonna come to today's basketball practice

He was speed walking the other way and I just went to go find my science class

I walked in with everyone staring at me. When They were staring some people's faces were surprised faces, some were smiles

Then I heard the teacher say

T: hey! You must be Derek
D: yes ma'am
T: well welcome to this school we are doing a lil projects about the earth and we all have are own so just partner up with a classmate for now
D: oh umm ok
T: yep *smiles*

I took a seat by this girl and she looked familiar but I just couldn't find out where she looked familiar from

Then I realized that it was her that one girl on my Instagram her name is z'rya I see her posts all the time. Well imma say hi or something to start a convo

D: h-hi
Z: hello you must be Derek
D: umm yea I am
Z: you wanna work with me on this project thing
D: oh sure

This new kid Derek I really nice and kinda cute I showed him around and I heard he's from the south it's really bad over there. Me and him were just walking and talking

D: hey thanks for showing me around this place
Z: no problem
D: so when did you start going here?
Z: well just last year and this year I live with my aunt and brother Jaden
D: does Jaden go to this school
Z: yea he just became this big basketball player and I became this girl that barely anyone talks

D: how your nice to talk to
Z: yea says the new guy
D: So are you and your brother close
Z: well not really as I said before he became this basketball and I became this but last year I went down a bad path

Z: I Used to do...drugs,drink, smoke, and all dat but I went to rehab and got better

Z: yes but I'm ok it's fine now
