Isobel Snow is an ordinary school girl. Her hair is as red as a ginger and her eyes is as blues as an ocean. She adores books and playing a violin. She is often teased by her red hair. She gets angered easily. Her feisty attitude makes it difficult for her mother to control and she always get herself into a fine mess.
One day, it was winter. Isobel adores winter as she gets to build a snowman and watches the snowy owl. She ran outside her house with her winter coats and starts to play with her friend, Ricky. They get along with each other. They both play snowballs with each other and build a snowman together.
As it gets darker, Isobel ran to her house for dinner. As she begins to eat, her mother decides to tell her something. "Tomorrow, we're moving to Manchester," said her mother. Isobel was shocked to hear this news. "But why we have to move, mum?" asked Isobel. "I was offered a job and I accepted the offer. You're gonna make plenty of friends," said her mother. "But Ricky is my only friend I have. And I love London," protest Isobel. She storms into her room, sulking.
The next day, they drove to Manchester. When they arrived, she walked into her new house. It was a mansion with a beautiful garden and it has a large library with a lot of books. She quickly adore the mansion as she walked into the library. Then, she saw a grand piano in the living room. She begins to play the piano. As she plays, a servant enters the living room.
"I see you love the piano so much," said the servant, Amelia. "Yes, I also know how to play the violin," said Isobel. "Are you Victoria White?" asked Amelia. "No, my name is Isobel Snow, from London. Who is Victoria White?" said Isobel. "She used to live here in the 1500s," said Amelia. Then, her mother appears. "Isobel, what do you think of the new house?" asked her mother.
"I love it. There's a huge library with a lot of books and a grand piano that I can play," said Isobel. "That's great. At least you can spend your time in the library rather wasting your time with those gadgets," said her mother. Amelia showed Isobel's room. The room has a dressing table with dolls and a sewing kit. Isobel looked at her room with awe. "This used to be Victoria's room. She love dolls," said Amelia. Isobel hold one of the dolls. "This one looks beautiful," said Isobel.
"That is Victoria's favorite doll. She would bring it with her every day," said Amelia. Isobel unpacked her things and walked to the garden. The garden has roses, honeysuckle, daisies, and many more flowers. As it snowing, Isobel went back into the mansion.
Isobel then felt suspicion on Amelia. She thought she seen her before but she's clueless about it. She begins to wonders if she met Amelia in her life.
