Six

The next morning she some up to the smell of French toast on her side table.
She flipped over and barely opened her eyes groaning before grabbing the plate.
She hated morning but when she woke up to food she was better about it.
She ate the French toast slipping out of bed.
She lazily turned on the shower.
She looked in the mirror turning on the cold water.
She gathered some in her hands splashing her face.
"Ugh, truly useless," she said grabbing the black towel.
"I need to stop doing that," she said.
She got in the shower.
She huffed with satisfaction as the boiling water hit her skin.
It had been a while since she had a shower.
She left before she could have a chance.
She stood there for a few minutes with a blank expression before grabbing the lavender shampoo.
She raised an eyebrow at the bottle.
"Ok then," she said thinking about how this got there but she just let it go feeling the purple liquid go into her slightly tan hand.
She rubbed it in her hair feeling more tired as the lavender hit her noise.
She let out a loud groan hating this morning.
She tied her hair up in a messy bun to let it sit.
She grabbed the shaving cream filling her hand with the soft cream playing with it a bit before putting it on her leg.
She grabbed the razor praying it didn't cut her.
She didn't want a million vampires smelling her blood if she stupidly cut herself.
She glided the razor on her leg thinking about the day.
She couldn't leave the room as it was still locked.
She huffed moving to her thigh.
She did the other leg feeling the softness.
She shaved the rest of her body thinning the same thought she had every time she shaved.
What would lasering it all off do?
She washed out the shampoo grabbing the conditioner.
She scrubbing it through the ends of her hair letting it sit as she grabbed an expensive soap that smelt of old lady perfume.
She mixed it with the lavender shampoo then watched it bubble as she mixed it in water.
She scrubbed her body hurting herself on purpose to try to wake her up as nothing was successful.
She washed the soaps off and conditioner standing still as the water running down her body.
She got out wrapping a black towel around her.
Suddenly a drop of blood goes on the ground and then another.
"Ugh, WHY," she said going into the cupboards finding what she needed cleaning herself up and then the floor.
She walked out getting changed.
She got a book laying on the bed.
Suddenly Caius comes in looking worried.
"Are you ok!" said Caius looking paler than normal.
"Yeah, are you?" said Effie looking at him.
"I smelt blood, I thought you were hurt or one of the newborns found you," said Caius.
"Oh," said Effie laughing.
"I just got my period," said Effie.
"A what?" said Caius sitting by her.
"Im menstruating," said Effie smiling.
"Oh," said Caius smelling the blood.
He held her hand kissing it.
"You smell incredible," said Caius.
"Thank you, I guess," said Effie smiling.
"No problem," said Caius.
"Were you in trial?" said Effie.
"No, just reading.
If you are possibly feeling a little better would you like to accompany me on a walk in the gardens" said Caius.
"The blood," said Effie.
"Would you like to accompany me to my art studio?" said Caius.
"Indeed I would," said Effie.
"Come," said Caius offering his hand.
She took it feeling his stone-cold palm as he led her through different halls.
These ones were a lot older and there were no guards at all down here.
She dozed off into thoughts rushing through the halls.
Suddenly she was in this beautiful art studio full of old paintings and thousands of sketchbooks.
It was incredible.
He grabbed a pencil tracing her as she looked around getting a quick sketch.
"Having fun?" said Effie.
"Indeed," said Caius.
Suddenly aro comes in looking concerned.
"Brother, there has been an attack on some of the humans.
It's the Romanians" said aro.
"Stay here until jane collects you.
I apologise but I may be gone for a few days" said Caius kissing her before leaving with aro.
