'' Moon. '' I froze.

It was my dad's voice.

I gulped. '' Dad. ''

'' I'm sorry. '' I felt a lump in my throat.

'' Why? '' I asked, my voice low.

'' For not being there for you. '' He spoke. '' When you needed me the most. ''

I took a deep breathe, not knowing what to say.

'' Forgive me, Moon. '' I heard him sniff.

My eyebrows furrowed.

' Is he crying? '

'' Dad, are you crying? '' I voiced out my question.

He cleared his throat. '' No. '' He denied.

'' Forgive me, Please '' He voice pleaded.

'' I forgave you a long time ago. '' I told him.

How can I not ? He is my father.

Even though he wasn't at my side, when I needed him. I couldn't ask myself to be angry at him or my mother.

I couldn't just forget all the good memories of the past. One bad thing couldn't erase the good things they have done for me. They are also humans and they also makes mistakes.

The important thing is that, they accept and correct them. 

 Some may say, I shouldn't forgive them, that if they were in my place they wouldn't forgive them, but they wouldn't know until they're in my shoes.

'' Really? '' He asked. His voice hopeful.

'' Yeah. '' I smiled, even though I knew he couldn't see me.

'' Then, will you come back to live with me? In Seoul? '' He asked.

'' No dad. '' I declined. '' I won't. ''

There was a few seconds of silence before he muttered. '' Why? '' His voice was sad.

'' I don't want to leave Suho alone. '' I told him truthfully. '' He lives alone as you know and I don't want that. ''

It was true. I don't want to leave him. Now, that everything is fine between me and dad, I just can't get up and leave him. He took me in when I needed someone, even if he was also hurting.

And no, I didn't do it because of Lee Hyemi. No one can stop me from living with my father.

Her words doesn't matter to me. She can go to hell, for all I care.

She had the nerve to threaten me. I admit, I got emotional but it was for the best or I don't know what I would've said to her in rage. 

'' Alright. '' He sighed. '' But you'll come to meet me right? '' 

I smiled. '' Yes. '' I agreed. '' Whenever I'm free, I'll visit you. '' I told him.

'' But first text me, so I can clear my schedule. '' I hummed.

We talked some more before he had to go for some work. He was telling his assistant to cancel it but I told him to go. As it was also my bedtime and I didn't want him to do extra work the other day. He was reluctant at first but hung up after saying ' goodnight. '
