“You showed me feelings I've never felt before
We're making enemies, knocking on the devil's door
But how can you expect me not to eat,
When the forbidden fruit tastes so sweet?”

Hearing Jungkook, Taehyung could feel his heart beating rapidly; feeling like it's about to burst any moment.

Hosoek? He was dead. Right?

Taehyung quickly hugs Jungkook trying to calm the man once again. He wipes Jungkook's tears away; blinks his own away. In a tone of determination, he says;

“Jungkook ah, don't cry.  I'll talk to him.”

Jungkook tries to call Taehyung back, but, Taehyung was quick to leave his husband there to go and his husband's supposed to be dead lover.
What was Taehyung even doing?

Taehyung's inner self was in a fight; a fight between his heart and his mind. Because he knew how it felt it lose someone who meant the world to him, also, he knew that if Jungkook leaves him, he will never be able to survive once again. A part of him wants Jungkook's happiness, because nothing is worthy if it's not his happiness. And another part of him, wants himself to be selfish, to hold Jungkook to himself.  But Jungkook....he was in pain because of Hosoek, because he believed that the other died. And, Taehyung really knows how it feels to be left behind; and what all hell he's been through. Jungkook, for sure, had gone through his own fair share of pain and suffering; maybe Taehyung's decision would soothe Jungkook's past wounds a bit. By uniting the lost lovers once again, by sacrificing his only chance of being happy.

Footsteps heard from the other side of the terminal room, Taehyung turns his head to see a man coming to him while talking through his walkie talkie.  He then looks at Taehyung, who straighten his back and bow curtly.

“Are you Jung Hosoek?” He asks nervously.

“Yes, that's me. Were you the one who asked for me? Is there anything I could help you with?” Hosoek says, confused.

“Sir, don't you Remember Jungkook? Jeon Jungkook? The one you met in university and fell in love with?” Taehyung asks, trying his best to ignore the way his heart is hammering in his chest. Hosoek's face fell at the mention of Jungkook's name and Taehyung saw it right through him.

Hosoek sighs, “Who are you?” pointing at him, his voice slightly higher.

“Kim Taehyung.”

“Who are you to him? What's your relation with him?” Hosoek shoots him the question clearly; him being clearly annoyed.

“I'm his husband.” Taehyung says feeling extremely suffocated. What was he even doing in here? He was supposed to be with husband, not talking with his husband's ex lover.

Hosoek clears his throat, averts his gaze to the floor. He chuckles; that followed by a frown of anger that irritating Taehyung unknowingly.

“You are his husband and you do know that we had a thing in the past right? It's in the past. The past that's long forgotten about. I'm married, Kim. Just because I saw Jungkook, I can't say “Hey Jungkook ah, let's get married!” Should I ask him like that? Is that what you want?” Hosoek couldn't help but roll his eyes at the man in front of him standing like a fool.
