Midoriya POV

It's no big deal. The line that ran through his head everyday. When he went into the same room as his mother and she immediately left. When he went to a shop only to be charged a higher price than what was on the packet. When he went to class to find spider lilies & threats & suicide baits all across his desk. When he was beaten up everyday by the person he had once called his best friend. When he limped away from school with more burns, scars & cuts each time. When the teachers did nothing. When he came home limping home on the verge of passing out £ his mother ignored it, ignored him, why was he complaining ? He had no right. His mother cooked for him and cleaned the house when he was gone. He shouldn't expect more from her, maybe if he had a quirk he would be less of a bother.

He was 5 when it all started. It had only been a few months after finding out that he was quirkless & he was already treated worse than dirt. But it was his fault wasn't it? Since everyone hated him then  he must have done something wrong. He was 4 when his best friend Azaro, became his lifetime bully. 6 when he started coming home with bruises. 7 when he started to come home in tears. 9, he was coming home with third degree burns , cuts grazes & burned uniforms. His 'bestfriend' had a fire quirk that was slowly becoming stronger over the years. He had hair of flames and could control it to his will. Izuku was 10, coming home with 2nd degree burns that he to treat & care for himself when he finally realised that it wasn't his fault. That he couldn't help being quirkless. That quirk discrimination was illegal, he was 10 years old when he realised it wasn't normal to have a mother who ignored their son. He watched, heartbroken, realising the truth when mothers of other children came to pick them up from school, whilst he had to walk home by himself. From the age of  5 he he had no friends. No one to comfort him, no one to trust. But from that age he had not stopped hoping for one, hoping for someone to comfort him when he was sad, to be there when he was at his lowest, someone he could put his trust in. From the age of 5 to 11. 6 whole years. But at the age of 12 he stopped. Stopped hoping, stopped loving, stopped forgiving. At the age of 12 when his mother had decided to take him for a car ride, he was happy for the first time in 6 years.

At the age of 12 when his mother decided to end both their lives, 5 minutes before his birthday. Making sure both their seat belts were on securely, she had drove them both towards the large like about 5 miles from the house. He was excited to finally spend the day with his mother. That was when she suddenly headed towards the lake at full speed showing no signs of stopping. "MOM!MOM! MOM WHAT ARE YOU DOING??!!" he shouted looking towards the water that they were rapidly approaching. He glanced at his mother with tears forming at the corner of his eyes, immediately connecting the dots. His mother smiled at the water, tears pouring down her face, not acknowledging her crying & screaming child, as if in a trance. Soon she would be gone. "I'm finally free." She whispered to herself & Izuku looked to her, those last painful moments, taking her in. Her, for once, pain free, happy face before he released his seat buckle, opened the door & jumped out, rolling into shallow water. He was 13 when he watched the car that held his mother slowly sink to the bottom of the lake, tears flowing down his face. It was a big deal. What a shitty birthday.
