Harry's POV.

After the Canoe date, I dropped Taylor off home and managed to give her a small peck. It's now 3 week later and I still havn't contacted or seen Niall. I've been out and about with Taylor and surprisingly gotten close with her. i'm debating myself weather I should call Niall or not. Wait, he's my bestfriend right? Yeah. Why shouldn't I call him. I mentally nodded to myself before typing his number and holding the phone to my ear. "Hey Harry." Niall's angelic voice echoed. "Hello Nialler, how have you been?" I smiled. He's pure sweetness. "I've been amazayn!" He giggled. I smacked my palm on my forehead at how childish he was. "Really? Tell me everything that happened." I responded and quickly stripped. Without any clothes,I laid on my bed, listening to Niall as he explained how Aileen taught him basics of hockey and then they went ice skaing. Although it wasn't the best topic to be talking about, I was happy that Niall was enjoying himself and wasn't hurt anymore.

We stayed up till 4am on skype, chatting along about everything that happened during the 3 week of seperation. The tensing of Niall's jaw was quite obvious as I talked about how beautiful Taylor looked that night we went canoeing. As we were chatting, I mentioned how much we have drifted apart because of the whole dating girls thing. He agreed and asked if I was busy today and I wasn't so we settled on meeting at the park. Just for a walk, so we can see eachother in person. I was now waiting on the bench at the further end of the park where no children were playing. The wind was tingly and rough as it blew against my rosy cheeks. I wonder what's taking Niall so long; considering he was suppose to be here 40 minutes ago. Before I knew it, a blonde jolly irish man started to jog towards me from the distance. He was holding....a burger. Not surprised at all. I laughed as I got up to recieve one of a kind, famous Horan hug. "I wonder what took you so long." I teased, eyeing the burger. "Oh, you know. Goodlooks don't just appear like that." He winked, brushing a hand through his quiff. Since when does he get ready to see me? One thing I liked about the wind was I could use it as an excuse for my red cheeks. "I like tomatos." He grinned noticing my intense blush. We started walking around the park aimlessly, riding on the swings, running up the slids and playing on the seesaw. It reminded me of the old times. Despite the cool wind,it was a very sunny day, so ice cream truck would be expected. Soon, the sound of it could be heard, creaping closer and closer. "ICECREAM!" Niall squealed in my ear causing me to flinch. He tugged on my arm, roughly pulling me to towards the truck. After the mediocre cue,it was our turn. "Hello young men, what would you like?" The man asked. "Three scoops of chocolate with a flake!" Niall ordered. The man was obviously trying to hide his laughter."And you sir?" He asked. "Just one scoop of vanilla and sprinkles please." I smiled. I paid for both of us as he handed us our icecream.

We sat on the swings silently eating our icecream. I knew Niall didn't like quite so he soon spoke."Harry, are you on a diet or something?" He asked with a hint of amusement in his eyes. "No, why?" I chuckled. "One scoop?" He stated matter-of-factly. I usually have the same amount as him. He knows my obsession for it,probably resulting him into thinking such a thing. "Not so much in the mood today." I informed. He disbelievingly nodded.I finished my icecream before him and decided to climb the tree nearby. "What are you doing?" Niall laughed. "Monkeying around." I winked. He soon finished his own icecream and climbed up also to join me on the third highest branch. He went on his phone, probably on twitter. He's lips creeped up into a small smile that he was trying to hide. Without warning I reached out for his phone and frowned as he pulled the phone out of my reach. "Let me see." I begged. "Nuh-uh." He smirked. We battled eachother as I try to get access of the phone. I accidently barged into his arm with alittle too much pressure than wanted. He balanced side to side on the branch before slipping off. I panicked before quickly catching is hand. I felt myself weaken as I saw fear in his eyes. Although his weight was slightly trying to pull me down, I held myself up strongly. "Don't let go." Niall pleaded with sparkly puppy eyes which were now rappidly forming crystal tear drops."I won't. Ever." I husked sternly and felt a sudden ray of power in my muscles as the thought of Niall getting hurt wandered in my mind. I lifted my arm up and grabbed his hip, still keeping an intense eye contact to distract him from the height. He nuzzled his head into my neck as I embraced him protectively. "Sorry." I mumled. "Don't you dare apologise, you just saved my life."He whispered with a shaky voice. "After being the one who actually pushed you." I chuckled deeply. He cheekily shook his head. "Now lets get down before I die." He spoke in a diva-like tone. As we climbed down I wrapped my arms around him the whole time, making sure he was safe. It was slightly dark now. "'Im walking you home." I announced. "I'm not a girl." He protested. I picked him up bridal style as he try to get away from my hold. After a session of pushing and shoving,he finally let me carry him home. We giggled and talked about the most random things. I wouldn't blame anyone who walked past for thinking we were high. I let him down when we arrived at his door step."Thanks Harry." He smiled and kissed my cheek. It might've not meant so much to him,but that little gesture just brightened up my whole month. Since I had left my car back at the park, I was forced to walk home, but I didn't mind. It was relaxing, just walking alone in the streets with a slight wave of tender breeze brushing past me. I walked past a dark alley and heard moaning sounds. One of the voices of the person sounded strangely familiar. Who could it be? Sneekily, I crawled around the bin and looked through the small gap aside it. I squinted my eyes to get a better look at who it was. A small gasp escaped my lips as I recognised the people that were displayed infront of me. Disgust washed over me as I watched that blonde Aileen girl from the hockey club that Niall comforted and was there for was snogging the exact guy who constantly shaded her. My hands balled into fists and I bit my lip harshly trying to tame myself. I crawled back out of the alley and sprinted off towards my flat before I got out of control. Niall has once again, headed in the wrong direction.
