Liam looked in the mirror to make sure his clothes weren't messed up or stained. He felt so nervous and that was odd to him. He was going to hang out with a guy so there was no reason to be nervous. Liam just was and he couldn't stop. He was trying to think of why he could be nervous when there was a knock on his door.
Liam goes and opened the door to see Nick standing there leaning against the door frame with a goofy smile on his face. Nick was the boy next door shy, sweet, and kind. He was nice and goofy and he was also handsome. He stood there wearing a short sleeve white shirt and blue jeans. He was wearing red converse while Liam looked very different.
Liam was wearing a black turtle neck and black pants. He had black dress shoes on and they looked new although he had them for a year. He keeps them clean all the time. The two of them may look different but only time will tell how different or alike they truly are. There was a few places on campus to go. There was a 24 hour little restaurant, there was a bar, and the last place was a combination of both with food, drinks, and music to dance to. Sometimes they have live music which is always a treat.
Nick did not tell Liam where they were going. But soon enough he could tell by the path they were taking. The place was the 3rd one. Food, drinks, and music to dance to. The thing is Liam really doesn't know how to dance. It just wasn't really his scene. He was shy so going to a club was not a good idea while going alone wasn't a good idea but he wasn't alone he had Nick with him.
The thing is Nick pushed Liam outta his comfort zone in less then 24 hours of meeting and Liam didn't fight. Maybe because deep down he didn't want to fight it. Nick could change Liam and hopefully for the better. Time will tell and hopefully the friendship lasted long enough. Liam had a short list of friends and has been hurt in the past and hoped Nick would be a true friend. After all Nick did protect him so that means something. Nick was a good person but a heart of gold can sometimes be cold.
They finally arrived and it was half full. But even half full is quite a few people. There was about 50 people in there and more and more were coming in. Nick and Liam grabbed a booth. Nick said," We should eat and then dance." Liam said," I don't dance." Nick said," Well for today your going to." Liam said," I don't know how." Nick said," I'll teach you if you trust me." Liam said," I guess I have to trust you then."
Nick smiled and leaned so close they were olny a few inches apart. Liam just became very more nervous. But before anything else could happen a waitress came over to know what they wanted to drink. Before she could speak she was called be another girl, with black hair and hazel eyes, who had a sodas for both Nick and Liam. The waitress was Rena, Liam's best friend. Nick was in there alot so she knew what he wanted.
Rena, once upon a time, had a crush on Liam but she soon loved him more as a friend then any other thing else. She gave Liam a kiss on the cheek just as she always did. She and Liam are close and know almost everything about each other because even friends have secrets. They order their food and ate while joking around. Soon Nick stood up and said," Time to dance my friend." Nick held his hand out for Liam to take. Liam hesitated for a minute but took his hand.
Nick pulled Liam out of his chair. Once agian their faces mere inches apart. Nick said," Now remember you said you trusted me." Nick started to move a little and just flowed with the music and Liam was in a trance watching him. Liam started to do the same but looked nothing like Nick did. Someone else dancing bumped hard into Liam knocking him into Nick. Liam and Nick were chest to chest and Nick's strong arms were wrapped around Liam. Liam said in his head and not out loud," Shit I was nervous because I have a crush on Nick." Liam hoped that this crush didn't last long or no one finds out.
