A/N: Hey I hope you liked the first chapter. This story will have a rough start, but soon it will get good. Thanks for reading!

Leaning back and sighing again, I close my eyes.  We were heading to the UK for 6 months because my parents are so dedicated to their jobs, they saved up all their vacation time and they now had enough for a long trip. Mom said we were going to stay in one of her friend from high school’s vacation home in Bexley, a small town not far from London. Mom would not stop talking about how nice it was of her friend to let us use her vacation home and it will be so cool to live in a house with a forest behind it. She said it would be quiet and cozy. I figured this meant that the house would be sufficient, I would probably have my own room and Gracen would too. I might have to share a bathroom with her, but that is okay.

I run my hands through my hair and start a French braid. I can hardly believe my parents have lasted 45 minutes of the trip without telling Gracen and I some gushy story about how they met or one of their first dates. I would have died if I was forced to listen one more minute about how cute Dad’s afro was or how pretty Mom looked in her bellbottoms. I didn’t even want to hear about how she spilled the milkshake she was serving on him. So romantic right? Who would think that you would end up marrying the person who drenched you with a double chocolate milkshake?

By now we were only an hour away from the LAX. I decided I should pass the time by people watching, I mean that was fun…right? I saw all different kinds of people, people with glasses, beards, curly hair, tattoos, worried expressions, and carefree looks. I asked myself, why just watch people? Why not play “sweet and sour”? I found a scrap of paper and a pen in my bag to record my results.  I looked out the window and saw a woman with glasses and red hair. I waved but she just scowled, I tried to wave to the man in the backseat but he ignored me. After 25 more minutes of that I got bored. As we got closer and closer to Los Angeles, people stopped being so friendly. All the people there seemed like they were late, irritated and just plain old grumpy. I would hate to live here.

It seemed like forever, but we finally made it into the airport.  After parking our car, I grabbed my big duffle bag, while everyone else grabbed their suitcases, and we said goodbye to our car. We walked slowly across the parking area, following the signs, when I snuck one more glance back at the car I wouldn’t see in months.

A/N: Sorry it was short, and more of a filler, please forgive me. Haha just wait until next chapter…     :)
