Prince Mathew

Chapter 1

      I run as i hear the cry of beasts of the night. Instead of looking straight ahead, I keep my attention on the root covered  ground making sure not to trip because it could cost me my life! I should have not snuck out of the castle this late without Reginleif, my royal lance, but i wanted to see for myself the creatures I read about in my magic studies. Who knew I would be  chased by one tonight! Out of nowhere a shadow apears in front of my path and i collide with it!
      "Owach! Watch where you are going you oversized pale skin!" The shadow shrieked.
      With a closer look i saw its long pointy ears, its olive green skin, and its giant sharp nose. "What is a goblin doing so far from the mountain?" I question quickly.
      "Non of your beever wax! I should fry you up where you stand!" The goblin replies while he is forming a fire ball in his hand.
     "You might want to use that on something else." I advise while i point to the hairy beast standing on two legs behind him.
     The beast readies its silverish claw for a strike. The goblin hurls his fire ball behind him, blasting the beast with an explosion! "Take that you bear!" The goblin yells
      The beast growls in pain as I ready my thunder tome. "I don't think thats a bear" I quickly remark before I start to chant.
      The goblin forms another fireball in response to blast the beast again .
      ".......me'urramya, me'urramya, me'urramya" i finish chanting and release a bolt of lightning from the palm of my hand at the beast!
     The beast cries in pain and falls to the ground.
     "I got to get out of here!" I say as i start to leave.
     Then, the goblin jumps onto my head. "Take me with you!" The goblin demands.
     "I can't bring a goblin into the castle! Are you crazy?" I ask angrily.
     "I will die out here! Who knows if that werewolf will stay down for long!" The goblin pleads.
     "Okay you can come, but you must get off my head."
