'Dude you're staring' is what breaks JJ out of his day dream
'Huh what' he said to John B pretending he didnt hear him
'You're staring bro at Kiara' he said with a smirk on his face
JJ laughed 'staring me why would i be staring at Kiara man' he says trying to avoid the question
John B shrugs 'I dont know man you tell me maybe its because that crush you had on her that you said you were over ... is bullshit'
Well shit... JJ thought John B knew him better than most people
He shook his head 'what no man no we all had a crush on her when we met her man but shes one of us now'
'Yeah and you're always hitting on her still bro sooo'
He knew where this was going as he threw his cup down the beach 'soooo nothing John B and yeah im always hitting on her because shes hot and shes one of us now do I know why shes with us no still dont have a clue but thats all it is'
John B nodded pretending to agree with his friend 'so why stare at her' he asked smiling
He shrugged 'I wasn't staring I was just looking because its not like kie to dance with and get with randos on the island at a party on the beach thats all'

He knew himself that it was more than that but that was another days problem
John B just nodded not believing a word he was saying
JJ didn't have a chance to argue his way out of it because the sound of yelling got both of their attention
He turned from John B back to the beach scanning for Kiara ... when he landed on her he found where the yelling was coming from
The guy she had been dancing with earlier was trying to get his way with her and thats all it took fot JJ to take off down the beach
'JJ' John B shouted after him following him down the beach
JJ ignored his name being called as he approached the asshole trying it on Kiara
'Hey asshole she said get fucked' he said before punching him square in the nose
He fell to the ground with JJ standing over him
'JJ calm down bro' John B shouted dragging him off the now injured asshole
JJ ignored him and focused on Kiara in front of him and held his hand out to her to help her up from the sand
She took it giving him a weak smile before jumping in to his arms for a hug saying thank you.
He stiffened at first but relaxed in to it with his arms around her
He looked up at John B who had a knowing smirk on his face

He coughed and pulled away from her 'hey are you ok come on lets get out of here... John B come on were out of here bro'
Later on at John B's house JJ was sat on the pull out sofa wrapping an old rag around his hands
'Here let me help you with that JJ' Sarah said sitting down next to him
Sighing 'thanks Sarah' he said looking around the house as he sees Kiara asleep on the sofa and cant help but smile to himself
He notices sarah chuckle next to him and frowns 'what are you laughing at'
She shrugged her shoulders as she tied the rag round his wrist 'I don't know JJ... you..because you are so bad at hiding the fact that you like your best friend ... another pogue more than you should or more than you can say out loud"
