Kayla had been told that her and George were the perfect couple. She never believed them. How could there be a perfect couple? Let alone her and George. Ginny always told Kayla that her and George were soulmates and that nothing could tear them apart. But there was one person that could and would tear them apart. Draco Malfoy. It was no secret that Malfoy liked Kayla. He hated George for taking her first. Draco took every chance he got to impress her. Kayla never payed him any attention because she just wasn't interested in Draco the way he was in her. She only had eyes for George. George always protected Kayla from the insults she got for being with him. The year just started and Draco was all ready all over Kayla. "Come on Kayla. Do you really want to be with George?" Kayla glared and Draco. "Yes Dracooo. I do want to be with him." she drew out his name. "But you could have me love." Kayla walked away. "Do not call me Love." Ginny met up with her halfway through the hall. "Hey is Draco bothering you again?" they made their way to the common room. "Like he always is. He really thought calling me Love was going to change my feelings."She scoffed." You might not want to tell George or this might just be dracos last day on earth!" Kayla and Ginny died laughing."Might I know what you two lovely lady's are laughing about?" George made his way to kaylas side. "George!!!" she wrapped her arms around his neck. "Just the fact Draco called her love." Ginny commented cooly. "I think it's time Draco learned not to call my baby love." Kayla turned to look at George. "You wouldn't!" George stared ahead. "Try me." George sat in one of the arm chairs in front of the fire. Kayla sat on his lap. "I love you George." she murmured into his neck. "I love you too." He replied kissing her. Lavender joined them. "Lavender. I haven't seen you in awhile." She sighed. "Yeah Blaise and me broke up so I haven't been out of the dorm in awhile." " What happened to you guys?" she explained the whole story while Kayla listened patiently. "Oh well I'm really sorry for you, Lav." the two spent the rest of the night catching up.
