There are many universes in space. In the different universes there are many different species; vampires, demons, spirits, and many others. Every species know all the others exist. That is every species except humans. All the species look down on humans for being so behind everyone in technology. Most species have a universe to themselves but every species at least has a planet to themselves. If they have a universe to themselves, one planet is reserved for the royals of the species. The royals run everything.

Nickoless Dark is half vampire and half demon. He is a demon in the day and a vampire at night. In the day his hair is red and his eyes are black. At night his hair is black and his eyes are red. He is the prince of the demon kingdom. His mother, Nina, was the second child of the vampire kingdom. She is a pure vampire. His father, Able, was the first and only child of the demon kingdom. Nickoless is unlike other demons because he cares about people who are "under" him. His father insists that this is a weakness caused by Nina and her habit of being nice to people. Nina died six months ago from mental illness. Nickoless felt lost when he lost his mother. He never got along well with his father. Kimen, Nickoless's best friend and servant, always helps him make it though everything.
