I woke up to someone shaking me. It was my little brother. "Wake up, there's some dude outside...he wants to see you". Huh? It can't be Daniel. Oh my gosh what if it is? I'm a mess!
I quickly got out of bed and ran to brush my hair quickly and kept it down. I found a piece of gum on the stand outside my door so I stuck it in my mouth and started to walk towards the stairs, trying to calm my nervous breathing.
I walked over to the front door, which was open, and I looked down at the floor. Remembering I was in Sponge Bob pajamas. I looked up and it wasn't Daniel. It was the mailman.
I walked over and asked him what he needed. He smiled and said "I have a package for, uh Sydney Bentley". He handed it over to me, like he knew I was Sydney. "Thanks", I said and shut the door. I walked up to my room and grabbed a pair of scissors.
I opened the box and it had nothing in it, but a note. I picked it up and it read,
"Check your phone"
It wasn't signed by anyone, which probably was a mistake. I put the note down and walked over to my desk where I left my phone. My lock screen was filled with notifications from twitter. They said things that consisted of "this slut?" and "why did they choose her?".
I unlocked my phone and saw I had a message. It was Daniel, of course. He's been really clingy and we just met. It's kind of creepy. He texted me saying,
"Text me your address, I'm coming to pick you up now"
At this point, I'm really confused, so I called him. He picked up after the third ring.
"Hey, why are you coming here?", I asked him. He made a weird noise, sort of like a huff and a laugh. "Did you not see my tweet?", he said. I don't even follow him on twitter. Before I could answer back, a car honked and Daniel hung up. So, I just put jeans and a sweatshirt on and headed out the door.
I didn't tell my mom or dad I was leaving, and my brother left for my neighbor's house, so I just have to be home before the bakery closes. I walked over to the car, which happened to be very big. Almost like a limo. The window rolled down and I saw his face. And about five others.
Someone tapped my shoulder from behind me and I shrieked. But not quiet enough because I could hear giggles in the car. "My apologies, I was just going to open the door for you. The boys usually open the door, and we know where teen boy's hands go", the driver smirked and I couldn't help but laugh. The boys in the car just sat there with blank faces.
I got into the car and looked around. There were three people in the back seat and two in the middle with me. In the front seat with the driver was just a bunch of clothes, shoes, and gym bags.
"This is Sydney, everyone", Daniel, who was sitting next to me, introduced me to the other four boys. In the back was Hayes Grier, Nash Grier, and Aaron Carpenter. Next the Daniel was Cameron Dallas. They all talked about the things they do and asked me about stuff I enjoy. As I told Daniel before, I don't do anything really. They asked if I could sing, which caught Daniel's attention from his conversation with he driver. I said no and they all started grunting and complaining. I don't know what the big deal is, I just don't sing. I've never tried and I don't really plan on it.
After I explained to everyone that I'll never sing, they started whispering stuff to each other and I just stared out the window, thinking they they were talking about cocky boy stuff.
A few minutes later, they were still talking and we arrived at this huge building and everyone started getting out of the car, so I got out, too.
We were walking to, I'm guessing was the front entrance, when someone walked up behind me and Daniel, who was beside me. "Get ready to sing your heart out!", Hayes said, and walked away. I turned my head to Daniel, and he just kept looking forward. I started to admire his facial features. He had the sharpest jawline that could cut your skin open. His eyes, deep brown, and just his body in general looked so strong. "Quit staring at me, and look straight before you trip on your own feet", Daniel looked down at me and smiled and played with my hair. I could't stop blushing.
We reached the entrance and it looked like what you'd expect Google Head Quarters to look like, if you've never been. There was so much to do. But, we walked up to the front desk and a man approached us and said, "Welcome to the family".
