As Godzilla was preparing himself mentally for the complaint that the kaiju couldn't fit a whale in his mouth, he heard a scream. He didn't know where it was coming from, but it didn't sound far. He heard another scream. This one was a little louder. Godzilla ran into the nearby forest, and heard the scream a lot louder than the last. When Godzilla found an opening, he saw a terrifying sight.

With one fire of his atomic breath, the Warbat lost it's grip on Mothra. Mothra tried to escape, but the Warbat tightened it's grip, and she let out another scream. The Warbat used it's tail to grab a tree, and hit Godzilla hard in the head! The Warbat slowly worked it's jaws around Mothra's head. It was sure to get a delicious appetizer before moving on to the main course. Godzilla got back up, and saw the Warbat was moving down to the abdomen, and that's when Godzilla pried open it's jaws. His tail grabbed Mothra, and slid her out. She was bleeding and unconscious, but breathing. Godzilla stomped on the Warbat's tail, and it let out a piercing scream.
Godzilla then let out his atomic breath down the Warbat's throat, and after a few seconds, it's head fell off. Godzilla looked down at Mothra. Her breaths were slow, and her bleeding was getting worse.
Later...
After Godzilla brought her to his cave, he began tending to her wounds. A lot of Warbat teeth were in her flesh, and he pulled them out one by one. After Mothra stopped bleeding, her breathing returned to normal. Her wings though, would take time to heal.
Eventually...
Mothra came to, and saw that she was no longer being swallowed whole by the Warbat. Mothra looked up, and saw Godzilla. "Who are you?" Mothra asked. "Godzilla. Who are you?" Godzilla replied. "I'm Mothra. Is this Heaven?" she asked. Godzilla was confused. "What do you mean?" Godzilla asked. "Last thing I remember was getting eaten by a flying snake thing." Mothra replied. Godzilla then understood her question, and decided to break the news. "You're not dead. I heard your screams, and got you out of there." Godzilla explained. Mothra began putting the puzzle back together, and saw the scars. "Why are you on Monster Island anyway?" Godzilla asked. "A 3 headed space dragon wants me to be his mate. When I refused, he destroyed Infant Island." Mothra replied. "Hold up. A 3 headed space dragon?" Godzilla asked. "Yeah." Mothra replied. "Large wings, 2 tails, and golden?" Godzilla asked. "How do you know that?" Mothra asked. "Because he's King Ghidorah. He always tries to take my crown, and I always get my buddies to help me kick his tails." Godzilla explained. "I just hope my shobijin and brother are okay." Mothra said. "Who?" Godzilla asked. "My brother, Battra craves action, but I don't think he called Ghidorah. And my shobijin raised me when I was young and had no parental support. I saw them as parents. Eventually, Battra found me, and explained that our biological parents died." Mothra explained, "A part of me died when he said that." After Mothra left, she began having a warm feeling. She felt safer around Godzilla, and felt there was still good kaiju left in the world.
