Once upon a time, there lived an alarm clock.

This alarm clock's name was Mama Clock, and her purpose was to wake up Mary Sues in cliché stories.

However, Mama Clock got fed up of being used in almost every young adult story. So, one day, she decided to have baby alarm clocks, hoping she'd be able to finally get a lie-in.

The baby alarm clocks rang at exactly 7am and Mama Clock cried, because her lie-in plan didn't work. Then, she got up and brushed her teeth (which she'd stolen from the children who left them under their pillows), washed her hair (strands which got caught up in her machinery) and got changed (one of the Mary Sues had painted her alarm bell in red nail polish and she needed a new bell). Then, Mama Clock ate breakfast (yummy chip grease left over from takeaways).

After several days of being woken up at 7am, Mama Clock decided to sent her baby alarm clocks away to boarding school, to service the boarding school bad boy werewolf romances. The baby alarm clocks loved doing this, and Mama Clock was finally able to get some peace.
